This city hotel lies in a quarter of Faro, close to the international airport. Countless bars, cafés, nightclubs and restaurants are located in the immediate vicinity. There are convenient public transport links close at hand and are within walking distance. The nearest beach is 4 km away.

Facility

88 non-smoking rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air.     Well IAM very very impressed absolutely love this place ! The entrance was wonderful clean bright welcoming..I was greeted by a very professional conceige Nano who spoke perfect English he was very polite and I immediately felt comfortable .My room as you can see is wonderful the lovely friendly staff who kindly showed me to my wonderful room .( I must add this is now under New Management and they have gone above and beyond my expectations X thank you all very much ..can't comment on breakfast as literally just arrived pm !! I wish you well in this wonderful Hotel ..you must all come and see for yourself XX ❤️

    your staff were amazing and welcoming to me & my husband due to our unfortunate circumstances of our BA flight being Cancelled from Faro to London Gatwick and for hours we were left stranded at Faro Airport with no assistance from BA whatsoever! The assistance we did receive was from our very helpful Taxi driver who knew of this wonderful hotel! And we are so grateful to him & all the helpful friendly staff at the Hotel Monaco! Thanks so much from the both of us! We won't forget your hospitality! And a big shout out to the lovely lady working the bar & taking orders for food and bringing out the food! And the very welcoming man that helped us with the booking of the room! You know who you are! We did personally thank him the night of our stay! And a other lovely gesture was when booking us in we wouldn't be able to have breakfast as we had to catch a flight back to London at 6.20am the next morning. He kindly booked us a cab for 4.10am & said that because we couldn't be there for breakfast that he would make sure we received 2 breakfast bags to take with us! Up until arriving at the Hotel Monaco both of us were left stranded and with no communication from BA. We were both very stressed out! But when we arrived at the Hotel Monaco we felt at ease for the first time that day! So from us Karen & Paul Pallen from Bermondsey, London. We want to say a big thank you to all your staff! Sorry we didn't know or ask any of your names! But we won't forget your faces! Sending all of you all a very big heartfelt thank you from the both of us!

    This hotel is ok but not worth the four stars at all. The rooms are basic, with no tea/coffee and a fridge that doesn't seem to work. The major downside is that the bar only opens from 3.30pm, so if you're swimming in the pool in the morning there is nowhere to get refreshments from. The gym is not worth it. Old machines and barely any weights. The reception staff weren't forthcoming about restaurant recommendations and there really isn't anywhere nearby for good food. The bar staff, on the other hand, were absolutely lovely. Funny, accommodating and quick to serve you. I would also suggest that if you do stay here get Uber for travel as it is cheaper than the taxis, especially as there isn't much within walking distance.

    Very nice place,friendly staff. Cleaning is good. Location,good you have few buses who go directly in the city . You are for 20 minutes. it's quiet place. surrounded by greenery,a large park nearby.Shopping center is nearby, store like Aldi is next to hotel
