    Poor despite friendly staff

    We were on our family vacation. Made the mistake of looking at location as opposed to reviews. The location is fantastic with easy access to the beach, restaurants etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool area was also clean. Thats where the good points end. The exterior of the complex was to say the least an eyesore. Overgrown with weeds and dog poo everywhere. The whole complex felt neglected. Our first apartment ended up flooded due to a burst pipe which could happen anywhere. We were moved to the apartment next door. Fair enough you might say. There was 1 socket in each bedroom on the opposite wall to the beds which were like metal cots. There were sockets hanging off the wall in the living room and kitchen and the plug for the washing machine was burned out. At this stage we just got on with it. Finally the cockroaches started to appear. They came in under the front door as we discovered and blocked with a towel which worked. Finally the pool area which had so many rules our usually keen pool going child didnt want to use. No ball games, no games, no music, no food, no noise. He couldnt even throw a ball in the pool which was empty for our entire stay. Overall not a place I will ever return too.

    We wouldn't recommend king's apartments we were restricted as to what we could and couldn't do weren't allowed food or drink by the pool .area near apartment was dirty dog poo outside .apartment area ladies underwear thrown around the area pool wasn't private because people living in the apartments had view of pool and were complaining about noise kids are kids they should be allowed to have their fun in the pool without complaints so it's a no from us

    Lovely place to stay,the apartment was huge and had everything we needed.it was very clean.its a 5 minute walk to the beach and approximately a 15 minute walk into vilamoura which is beautiful.would stay here again for the price without a doubt.

    Had to upgrade, as 3rd bed was terrible. Dogs poo outside hotel, view of car park form balcony, lack of sun beds charged for use of old mattress for sun beds only had 2. No umbrellas. Not suitable for older people as walk to beach quite long, very few bars in quartaria. Only positive pool was clean.

    Very disappointed We have stayed here several times in a one bedroom apartment and thought it was lovely till this time. Due to us going out and about and eating out with friends we decided to have a studio apartment and never again. We walked in and the room is really small. The lights above the bed didn’t work so only one light in the room which is in kitchen area so literally have to get out of bed to turn light off as the lights above the bed didn’t work. Secondly there was a double bed and a single bed. And the double bed was so bent it rocked. All four legs were bent in separate directions so it bounced every time you moved. I know it’s cheap but you expect certain things and this hasn’t accommodated this time we went and found suitable accommodation as they were fully booked. Don’t think I would stay here again.
