  Worth the money - Does the job!

  After reading the reviews before we travelled I was expecting the worst but in all honesty it was fine and did the job the needed it for.The hotel is quite dated and old fashioned but we found the rooms to be clean and spacious. The pool area was really quiet as it was outside of the summer holidays, the majority of people were older so it was peaceful and great for sunbathing.There is no bar or snack bar at the hotel but you can take your own drink around the pool so absolutely not an issue. There is also a good little sports bar next door and two cafe / restaurants within 50m of the hotel which both serve well-priced, good food.the beach is a 2 minute walk away down the hill and the 'new town' strip is about 10 minute walk.Overall we'd stay here again if it was just the 2 of us but wouldn't stay here if we was bringing the kids as there isn't much to do for them.Tip - Uber's are running all the time and are very cheap over there so use them when wanting to get out and about.   Great family friendly apartments

  Lovely quiet hotel, all staff very friendly and will go out of their way to help. I stayed in a studio apartment on the bottom floor, yes it was a little dark but that meant you didn’t need to use the air con all the time and you were straight out onto the pool area, which was great. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable and had maid service everyday. The Uber was great to get you wherever you wanted to go, and very reasonably priced.   Excellent apartments, stayed in one bedroom apartment and it was very spacious. Beds firm but comfortable. Apartment spotless. Fresh towels daily if required. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is on a hill, but you can download the uber app, very reasonable prices average €5 to anywhere in Albufeira, old town, strip, beach ect.Great wee cafe bar, San Jaio, great breakfast and meals served here, also very friendly and great for a drink. Spar shop has all your needs.Lovely area away from the lively parts of Albufeira, but you can easily go to them via uber.   Peaceful friendly accommodation in great location

  This place was just perfect for usIt is located just minutes from a beautiful beach and fantastic beach bar20 min walk along the beach brings you to the Old TownThe accommodation does need some renovations but the our apartment was clean, beds comfortable and the cleaners called every day of our six day stayThe pool is big and lots of sun beds and umbrellas It’s a lovely quiet place with very friendly reception staffPlease disregard the negative reviews, this is a 3 star property not 5 star, you do get what you paid for and this was excellent We will be back Luna Hotels, Marketing at Luna Clube Oceano, responded to this review Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience.   Subject: Formal Complaint – Misrepresentation of Luna Hotel & Resorts Stay (Room 403)Dear Recipient, I wanted to bring to your attention several serious issues we encountered during our recent stay at Luna Hotel & Resorts (Room 403), which was completely misrepresented as a family-friendly hotel.From the moment we arrived, it was clear the room had not been properly cleaned — the toilet seat was broken, the bath and shower blocked repeatedly, and both the bedroom and lounge curtains were damaged. The table was sticky and dirty, and the balcony was filthy, littered with cigarette butts around a blocked drain.The pool area was no better. It was never cleaned during our stay, despite me asking a staff member who couldn’t confirm when it was last maintained. There were visible cracks around the pool, a ring of dirt in the water, litter everywhere, and dirty sun loungers. To make things worse, large groups of young men were drinking heavily all day by the pool, leaving beer bottles behind and shouting about their nights out — a serious safety concern and not family-friendly at all.We were also misled about advertised amenities — the bar area and hot tubs that were promoted simply didn’t exist or were closed without explanation.The reception constantly smelled like it had just been sprayed with air freshener, seemingly to mask other odors. This entire experience was far from what was promised.While I chose not to make a scene during our four-night stay for the sake of our granddaughter, I have emailed / called email numerous times just to be ignored !!Terrible service - do not stay here Luna Hotels, Marketing at Luna Clube Oceano, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for your feedback.
