    Sat poolside as I type (June 5th), day 6 of 8 of our holiday. Hotel is spotlessly clean and staff friendly and attentive.Breakfast very good and plenty of choice on offer.No sun bed issues by the pool to report. We were down by 0930 most days and virtually all were unused but it does get busier by lunchtime . Yes, the pool water is chilly but also refreshing. Excellent location for the bars and restaurants and all very reasonably priced. We have not had a bad meal yet and they cater for all tastes. Don’t let the walk up the hill back to the hotel put you off. There are plenty of bars to break up the journey. The hotel and resort does seem to be full of older holiday makers so if you want the Ibiza experience this area place may disappoint. We didn’t, so happy days ! In summary a really good hotel in a really good location. No complaints from us and we would certainly visit again.Enjoy your holiday…..

    The hotel was stylish and spotlessly clean. Staff friendly, breakfast excellent with a great choice. Service good and plenty of staff to help if required.Pool isn’t heated but was still ok for a swim because the weather was very warm. Pool and pool area also very clean and tidy. Lots of loungers, we took our own towels. You do have to pay for a safe and also pay a deposit for key which is a bit unusual nowadays. The complaints in previous reviews mention that there is no kettle. We bought a portable one and a couple of cups and as there is a small fridge, you can keep a bottle of milk. Rooms very clean, would have preferred a double bed but beds were comfortable. Wardrobe space good and modern with light on opening. Bathroom a good size but shower curtain a bit annoying and lighting in there a bit dull. Shower good pressure and temperature . Our balcony never got any sun but there are many others which would be sunnier, so may be better to request that when booking. On a Tuesday, there is a saxophonist that plays at the pool - very entertaining and made for a really enjoyable 3 hours in the sun. Hotel a few minutes walk from the town and beach. The boardwalk is also a few minutes stroll away and has glorious views of the cliffs and sea.The hotel was good value in a great location.

    Relaxing break in a lovely, well run hotel.

    I am just back from a lovely stay at this very relaxing hotel.The hotel is well located at the top end of the town. It is within walking distance of the main square, although it is down a moderately steep hill (not great if you have mobility problems) - 15 minute walk at most. There are lots of good restaurants and bars close to the hotel if you prefer to stay nearby. You are also 10 minutes from a lovely cliff top walk into town too.We were given a genuine welcome which was typical of the friendly, professional staff at this hotel. Our room was very comfortable with lots of storage space. They were clean and well maintained with daily cleaning. There was a small fridge in the room too. As has been previously been mentioned there is no tea making facility, however, we took our own kettle, cups, tea etc which easily remedied the problem. Also whilst there is a hairdryer it isn’t the easiest to use - might be worth taking your own. However, these minor points shouldn’t detract from lovely accommodation.The pool area was very spacious with plenty of room between the beds. We didn’t have any problem getting beds each day (hopefully it will be the same in the main summer season) - there was no daily early morning dash here. The pool bar served a well-cooked range of lunches.We had breakfast each morning and loved the fact that it was served from 8-11. There was a wide range of everything you could want - all freshly cooked and beautifully prepared.I would recommend this hotel if you would like a relaxing break in a well run hotel. I would certainly go back.

    This is a lovely hotel right in the heart of Carvoeiro within walking distance of everything the town has to offer (although the hill back up can be heavy going especially after a meal). The outside areas are beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are quite basic but very clean with modern showers. Ours was a ground floor room so I can't comment on views. The breakfast is great with lots of choice. The staff are very friendly especially Gisela who always seemed to be on hand for assistance. The bar snacks served at the pool area are freshly made and tasty. Our only real problem was the lack of tea and coffee making facilities and you are not allowed to take a drink from the breakfast room back to your own room. This felt a little petty to me, if you wake early you don't necessarily want to go to breakfast but it's nice to be able to get a hot drink. Maybe it's just a British thing! This one issue would not stop me going again, for the price it was excellent value.

    Nice three nights in the Algarve region

    My husband and I spent 3 nights here in mid-May. We had a nice time and would stay here again. The room and the entire hotel was very clean. The air conditioner in the room worked great! It was individually controlled and not a decoy that is centrally controlled. The breakfast buffet had nice options in it. I liked that the hotel room had two doors, which helped block any hallway noise. The balcony on the room was spacious and clean. The towels were of a very nice quality, thickness. The only thing we didn't like too much was the shower. It is a bathtub/shower and it was kind of narrow. Also the shower head didn't have a good angle to it, so a tall person wouldn't be able to stand under it. Also when you turned on the shower head by pulling up the little button, the water continued to come out of the bottom faucet as well. Anyway, I would stay here again if I find myself in the area again.
