Location

This hotel lies right by the wonderful white sandy beach of Altura, with the warm sea just a few steps away. Altura is the ideal destination since the climate is mild the whole year round. It is within easy reach of an abundance of shops and other entertainment venues in the centre of Altura. Cacela train station is around 2 km away, there is a casino around 3 km away and Faor airport is around 50 km away.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 10-storey building with a lift and 135 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected.     Perfect for a lovely relaxing break

    We have just returned from 4 nights half board at this hotel. We had a lovely time the hotel is beautiful, there is still some work going on which at times was slightly annoying but it is still early in the season and I’m sure all will be done before full summer. The staff were without exception friendly and professional. The food was lovely and plentiful and very fresh. My only slight issue was it was not ‘hot’ which I like but I often find this with buffets. We were half board and on check in were told we could book the beach bar which was à la carte ! When we went for dinner we tried to ask about the plan for payment if it was part of our half board. It was difficult to get an answer ! Language barrier but we were then charged the full price which we were not surprised about 🥴 the location is perfect for a relaxing break. There are a few bars cafes and restaurants outside the hotel but many were not yet opened and the resort itself was very quiet.

    Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Only had breakfast in the hotel but that had a great variety of hot and cold food and was very good. The room was large and nicely set out even though it was not one of the newly refurbished rooms. All rooms have a sea view. A couple of minutes walk to the lovely beach and lots of restaurants close by. We will definitely go back

    This place is so modern and clean, and was like a little hub in the middle of Altura! The stunning beach is in your back garden, the food was delicious, the gardens, pool, atmosphere, spa were all beautiful, accessible and exactly what we wanted. One staff member on the front desk especially - a young lady, was so helpful, friendly and communicative and spoke excellent English for us, and all staff were helpful! Thanks for a lovely time, we would definitely stay again 🥰Sandra and Fergal

    Our 34th year in the Eurotel. Never disappoints and we feel like this is our second home. All rooms have sea views and I could just sit all day looking out over the sea but the beach is so spectacular that a short walk and I am in heaven. Every member of staff is welcoming and they work so hard to make it such a happy stay. Beautiful large bedrooms with everything you could wish for. Already making our booking for next year.

    The Eurotel is one of those rare locations where you find yourself coming back for a second or even third time. It's well situated within a very short walking distance to town center where you can find a variety of restaurants. The facility has a great pool area with food and bar service available and if you prefer there's a lovely beach just a few minutes away. You won't be disappointed in the facilities and the staff are attentive and helpful whenever you need them. A great place to relax and enjoy the sun.
