  Peaceful location, clean, tidy and super friendly dly

  We arrived at the hotel slightly worried after reading some negative reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. The reception was clean and tidy and the man on reception was very welcoming. Although we were early they suggested we have a drink and then our room would be ready, the bar area and pool area are kept immaculate and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a superior one bedroom apartment on the 4th floor, it had recently been refurbished and upgraded, it was beautiful and had everything we needed, if I had to pick any faults I would say the shower wasn't the best and the wardrobe doors stick ! So nothing really. The hotel location was overlooking the pool and was peaceful day and night. Breakfast was simple but adequate as a vegan i struggled slightly so did take my own milk and yoghurt in. We were bed and breakfast because of this, but those that were on half board were saying the food on an evening was beautiful. Location wise it is quiet, surrounded by a few restaurants the Lagos Azure ? I think, over the road near the supermarket was exceptional and we ate here twice. Its a nice walk to the marina, about 25mins and we used the Bolt app for getting about which was petfect. The hotel offers free shuttle and there's a tourist train also, so plenty of transport. We had entertainment of music, karaoke etc most evenings. I highly reccomend a trip to the gypsy markets for some bargains. Its just opposite Lidl.We had a 4 day break and I cant fault anything, from start to finish. Clean, Tidy, Friendly and nice location. Definitely warrants the 3star status.   Arrived home yday, after a holiday here,on arrival Reception guy helpful,pleasant, apartment lounge huge ,welcome pack in kitchen, apartment lovely ,nice balcony views over pool,breakfast buffet lovely lots of choice, staff all lovely,friendly, helpful,nice relaxing days by the pool ,previous reviews of negative feed back ignore,because this is a great hotel supermarket 5 mins walk away,nice local restaurant over road next to supermarket do gorgeous salad or pasta dishes good price too, lovely holiday 😀

  Don't always believe what you read!After booking this holiday I read the reviews and was tempted to spend extra money to change the hotel, I am glad I didn't waste my money. I traveled with my mum who can't walk very long distances, I knew we were quite far away from everything but having been to Portugal before I knew that bolts and Ubers are easy and cheep to access. I had requested ground floor accommodation and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and got it! We arrived early and was told the room would be ready by 1.30pm, we left our luggage in the luggage room and went and had lunch in the restaurant which was lovely. Our room was ready on time and the guy and reception insisted on taking one of our bags and showed us to our accommodation. We were in the block of apartments opposite the main reception and pool area. Our accommodation was spacious and clean. We had 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each, an outside area with table and chairs and a filly equipped kitchen. The bathroom was small but had the best shower we have ever had, I thought I was never going to get my mum out of it! Very powerful and hot hot! All windows has electric shutters which was great when you went out at night to make the place more secure. Breakfast is available in the restaurant for €12, standard buffet breakfast which was really nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful, bar is well stocked and not expensive. We used the bolt to go to and from the marina which cost under €4 euro and went to albufera old town for €12. Overall we had a lovely time and would definitely return if looking for somewhere to go that is relaxing and affordable. Only small issue we had was a bit of noise late and night and early morning with workers that seemed to be staying there, but it didn't annoy us enough to feel the need to complain.

  Nice quiet apartment with beautiful gardens. Welcome pack on arrival, powerful shower and maid service daily - very impressive. Reception staff knowledgeable and friendly. The whole site is very well maintained and clean and tidy - I would definitely return.

  I was a bit dubious about the hotel after reading some of the reviews, but we had a lovely room. It was on the top floor of Mourabel, room 82. (One of the premium rooms) The balcony was huge with table, chairs and sunbeds. Also south facing pool and sea view so was sunny all day! The room was cleaned every day. Very comfy beds. Lots of cutlery, pots and pans, cups etc. There was a 1.5 ltr bottle of water, carton of milk and 2 tea and coffee sachets plus sugar in the room on arrival ( great if you arrive after shops close) Supermarket nearby with all essentials. It's around a 20-25 minute walk to Vilamoura marina, but it's all flat and a nice walk. Or take the free bus 3 times daily, which stops at the beach then the marina. Taxi is roughly €7. Bar at hotel is cheap, €3 for a large beer. Didn't use restaurant so can't comment on that. Lots of sunbeds available but I'm sure that'll change in summer when it's busier. All staff very friendly and polite. Was it perfect? No. But it was great value and room was spotless, large and comfortable (1 bed apt) I would definitely stay again and highly recommend 👌
