Location

Situated in Tavira in the Algarve, close to the most beautiful beaches and in a unique geographical position, this pousada is perfectly suited for a longer stay. Faro and Ria Formosa Nature Reserve are in the immediate vicinity. Faro Airport is about 30 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 36 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a double bed.     We stayed for 4 nights in early January and were very well treated by all the friendly staff. The room was clean and well maintained, and breakfast was decent and we could even order our eggs from the kitchen. It is one hotel we would return to if we are back in Tavira.     In the middle of the old town, nicely located, easy access to the main place by foot. Hotel is a mixture of old and new. We had a suite in the old part of the complex, very spacy, with two bath rooms. Only bad thing are the water saver armatures which mean warm water arrives no sooner than two minutes or so.Breakfast is excellent. Good service.Dinner and bar services quite o.k.Very friendly staff.
