Location

The hotel is located on the beach front, along the sandy Meia Praia beach. It is the reference point on the Western Algarve Coast. The closest train station is about 1.5 km away and Faro Airport is about 85 km away from the hotel.

Facility

130 rooms and 18 junior suites are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Further services and facilities include a car hire service, room service, an alarm call service and a laundry service. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 9 conference rooms.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds or children's beds can be provided upon request. A safe and a minibar are also available. A direct dial telephone, a flatscreen television with cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book 2 wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools (for a fee). Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. The pool area also includes a hot tub, a waterslide and a pool bar. Sun loungers and parasols on the sun terrace create a perfect space for guests to relax and unwind. A variety of activities are available at the resort, for example beach volleyball and a putting green or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, tennis, golf and horse riding. The resort offers a range of indoor sporting activities, for example a gym, billiards, darts and bowling. There is a wellness area with a hammam and a beauty salon and, for an additional fee, a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments. Parents can unwind while the kids can participate in an entertainment programme full of fun activities.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. Catering is provided by 3 buffet and à-la-carte restaurants (equipped with high chairs for children and air conditioning). Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive. Special extras await all-inclusive guests – snacks and live cooking as well as a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. For breakfast (), lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet or choose their favourite dishes from the à la carte options.

    The hotel/resort has very spacious rooms and a nice patio with an ocean view.There is no coffee in the room unless you pay extra. There is no Kleenex or tissues provided and no water. We received one small bottle when we checked in.We purchased bed and breakfast. Breakfast is a disaster. Coffee machines are not working most of the time. Hot breakfast has no taste and is mostly cold. Staff don’t seem happy and it shows in the service.We are finding that eating out is our best option but we are about 30 minutes to town walking.Lagos is beautiful. The town is beautiful. The beaches are beautiful and close by.This is not what we had hoped for especially when we had such amazing hotels in Barcelona and Lisbon. We would not return.

    Breakfast is a disaster. Coffee machines never have anything in them. It's so busy you queue for everything. You can be out all day and get back and the room isn't cleaned. Then at 5pm there's a knock on the door, and they spend no more than 2 or 3 minutes pulling the bed together, mop the floor etcBar closes ar midnight and there's no night porter service afterwards. TV in the room has only basic channelsMini bar has one beer.I will not stay here again.

    Golf trip using hotel as a base staff were friendly. All inclusive bar good but understaffed. Food was poor "show cooking" one choice of unnamed fish and "steak" was like rubber. Soup was the same 2 days in a row. Breakfast was luke warm with same daily offer. Food from the pool bar and main bar was of a better standard than the restaurant. Rooms are OK but walls are paper thin. Would not stay again.

    The group of 28 all thought the standard of the evening meals was exceedingly poor. We were there for 10 days of repetitive dishes, unimaginative meals, overcooked vegetables, uninspiring salads, powder tasting soups. Despite complaints, the chef was deaf to suggestions for improvement. We have never seen such an overcooked turkey, it was totally black! The hotel itself was very cold in the bedrooms and reception areas, giving its clients an overwhelming feeling of cost cutting at the expense of comfort. The hotel displays model figures which were tatty, dated and had no appeal nor enhancement to the total grey surrounds.I felt sorry for the families with young children trying to keep them amused in cold playless surroundings. However, the pool area was being repaved over the Christmas period and is lovely (in warm weather).
