Location

This simple beach hotel is situated at the entrance to the lively centre of Albufeira and is surrounded by wonderful gardens filled with palm trees. There are a large selection of bars, pubs, restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk of the hotel and it is just a short walk (150 m) to the inviting sandy beach. Links to the public transport network are also to be found in the immediate vicinity and the nearest nightclub is some 3 km away.

Facility

92 apartments are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     We had a room below street level, dark and noises from the street were incessant. Would not go there again!

    Booked this hotel quite last minute and didn’t do too much research as we were only staying for three nights but was a great find!Fab location which is in walking distance to the old town square and beach with some lovely bars and restaurants on the way. We stayed in room 301 and had no issues with noise, the room was basic but cleaned daily with plenty of wardrobe space for clothes and the bed was comfortable. We took our own kettle and there was a fridge so just bought milk and water from the shop facing, we also hired a safe which was €3 per day. The staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful even the guy who was working when we checked out at 6am had a smile on his face. I wasn’t overly keen on the breakfast but there was a good choice, I’m a bit of a fussy eater so don’t let that put you off.We went to the pool area which was fine but shaded from mid afternoon so then we went to the roof terrace on the 4th floor, there was nobody else there and was a great view, would have been good if there was somewhere to buy a drink other than the bar at the hotel entrance.If you are staying here I’d definitely recommend a meal at Indian Nights, food was delicious.We paid a deposit of €100 on arrival but this was refunded within a day or so of us checking out.If you’re looking for a great base I’d definitely recommend the Vila Recife.

    Location is perfect. Close to the square and beach. Bar and cafe across the road. Very basic accommodation. You need to pay for all extras such as a kettle, hairdryer and safe. We stayed above the reception. It was very noisy throughout the night from customers. No concerns with cleanliness. The pool is small and was in the shade from 3pm (May). I would not recommend the pool area for families with children. It’s a very small area.

    Perfect location in the old town

    Location was perfect. Close to all amenities and the old town and the fabulous long beach. We have stayed here twice before so we knew what to expect. The pool was nice and offered good views over the old town. Breakfast buffet was an extra 8 euros but it was all you could eat and we really enjoyed it. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

    The loviest boutique hotel yet! The staff, EVERY single staff member were the nicest people, they couldn't do more to make our stay enjoyable and are very well managed/trained as they were there at any time to help yet never felt invasive.The rooms we had were immaculate, clean and tidy and well presented, decor was functional rather than brand new but that is the only single thing I could point out, and remember you're not paying four or five star prices.Regarding location, you will absolutely struggle to find better anywhere if you want to be close to the Old Town/Square yet it's extremely quiet. The pool area is in a great location, not huge but very private, and make use of the terrace and bar/food at the front of the hotel, the cocktails are better and actually cheaper than the bars/restaurants nearby!It took less than forty minutes to travel back and forth from Faro airport to the hotel although it felt even less on the roads.
