  Fantastic Place to Stay!

  One of the BEST hotels I have ever stayed at! The ladies at the front counter were very professional and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! Our room was great and the hotel was very clean. We enjoyed the hotel so much we adjusted our vacation to stay there longer! I strongly recommend staying here as this is a top-notch place to stay! Absolutely love this place!

  It’s close to the beaches and not walkable to the historic downtown. It’s a bit out of the way and in a suburban area with locals but still walkable. There is a SPAR supermarket nearby - nice to grab some items and groceries or wine lol The only bad thing about the hotel is it’s close to the roundabout so you will hear the cars revving or traffic noise! The breakfast is standard continental. The front desk were very helpful and accommodating! Best service ever. Mini advantage is they have beach umbrellas you can borrow for free. Perfect ! Also reasonably priced in Lagos

  I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Check in was easy. Had to use street parking. The room was a little small for the price, but it was peak season. The A/C in the room worked very well! The shower was nice, but the water did not get very hot for me. Overall it was a good experience and staff were very friendly

  The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Lagos, alongside the N125, easy to reach if you have a car, not so easy if you are on foot. It’s approximately 25 minutes, walking mainly uphill from the train station. In theory you should be able to hop on the number 2 bus just outside the station and that bus should drop you off just outside the hotel but in practice the bus seldom bothers to turn up, which sadly is typical of the local bus service in general.The hotel itself is quite good. Although looking a little tired in its outward appearance the interior is very clean and tidy and appears to be in a good state of repair.The reception staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.Our room was spacious, comfortable and well-furnished, complete with the usual refinements that you would expect to find these days including air conditioning, tv, internet and an excellent en-suite.Breakfast was mainly continental, offering a wide selection of breads, fruits and cereals to suit most palates. There was a cooked option of scrambled egg, mushrooms and something claiming to be bacon put out each morning but it was always cold and didn’t look too good so we steered clear of that.Overall we thought the hotel offered good value for money and would be happy the stay there again should we ever revisit Lagos.   MOLD!!

  MOLD!! A patch of mold about 40 cm x 40 cm was growing on the ceiling of the room. There was also mold on the shower all along the rim where the floor meets the wall. I had to kill 5 fruit flies in various stages of development directly upon arrival, so there is a colony growing somewhere. There were always about 2 buzzing around even after you killed the last one. (This was also in December, not in the hot months of the summer when fruit flies are harder to manage.) When I told the front desk I could not stay there because mold is unsafe and unhealthy, they made some excuse about a work order. They said they other rooms I could switch to, to which I responded, "If you have other rooms, WHY would you put me in one that is growing mold?!?!" No apologies, no offers of refund - just emphasis on the fact that I was choosing to leave so there was nothing they could do about it. So I lost everything I spent on this accommodation and then had to pay for a new spot to stay. So you will not save any money by staying here. The area around the accommodation is also pretty dirty and noisy, not very nice. Do yourself a favor, stay healthy and don't waste your vacation time - book somewhere else!
