    Worst Motel Experience Ever

    Infested with live roaches/spiders. The sheets were stained. Electrical wires hanging from ceiling. Sink water leaking water. Management was not just unhelpful but hostile. We were told by the manager we are not a 3 star hotel! Avoid!!!!

    This hotel or WHATEVER it is IS SO BAD!!!!!!!!!! Very terrible service and RUDE staff! Please DO NOT go here if youre new to santa monica! The rooms are VERY dirty and the bathrooms are WORSE! PLEASE do NOT go here.

    There was 2 of us staying here, suppose to stay 2 nights. Barely made it thru the first night then had to leave. The sheets and blankets had stains/dirty marks on them, including the inside, someone’s old gum stuck, we got hassled trying to request new bedding. The drawers/ table surfaces were filthy dust/dirt. We found several cockroaches crawling on walls and drawers. The shower was grimy, the last customers shaved hair smeared all around and old half soap bars on the ground. When brought to hotel attention rolled their eyes and said this isn’t the Hilton. Not apologetic at all . Did not care to loose are business just said go then! And fyi motel 6 is $40 cheaper, clean, friendly! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

    Dirty stained sheets, bugs in the bed, racism and insane people live here, the place is NOT SAFE!

    Checked in at reception which looked dirty and rundown and smelled of stale cigarettes.. they keep the laundry in there too which instantly put me off! We then get to the room.. the floor was filthy, the sheets were stained and the whole place stank. There was around 10 crickets crawling on the floor, another 5 in the bathroom.. we pulled back the sheets because they were filthy and another 5 was under the sheets, pulled the mattress up and to no surprise more crawled out. We went to a laundrette down the road to ask if there was any local shops open to get fresh sheets and they gave us fresh bedding and a pillow. I wouldn’t have stayed there otherwise. The place/room was like a scene from a horror movie but it was in a great location and the area around was lovely. To make things worse there was a guy that lived there that was insane and extremely disruptive, swearing all the time and calling everyone bi****s. He made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe and the guy on reception just kept shouting at him telling him to ‘go back to your room you n***a. The whole experience was awful tbh.. I don’t mind staying in cheap places as we’re always out but this was a joke. Avoid!

    AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE/CORONAVIRUS. Read all the reviews before you book a room here. I made the mistake of booking a room without checking the previous reviews. When we arrived in the parking lot, I got out of the car, looked around, and immediately saw that the place was nasty. That's when we decided to check the reviews and read the recent multiple reviews about BEDBUGS and nastiness. We didn't want to be bitten by bedbugs or sleep in nastiness so we decided to book a room elsewhere. I contacted hotels.com FOUR times to request a refund. The first three times, nobody got back to me. Finally on the fourth try, the hotels.com operator got back to me and said that she spoke with the motel staff and that they REFUSE to give me a refund, although we never checked in due to all the nastiness. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
