    The Atlantida Mar Hotel on Terceira Island in the Azores was a delight! Fantastic location with easy access to all the fun places we visited, plus great views of the ocean. The rooms are large, clean, and very comfortable, the breakfasts are terrific (big thanks to Caroline for providing excellent service there!), and very friendly, helpful staff.     Bad experience at the end

    I was warmly welcomed almost a week ago by a charming Lady! So I stayed for 6 nights… unfortunately this morning the B team was on command … arrogant , unpolite and disgraceful! Telliyme I have to leave , wth … welcome to Azores this is what Portugal Presode t called Vacas ! Luis Cabral, Proprietário at Atlantida Mar Hotel, responded to this review Dear Jean-Christophe, I am sorry, but we cannot accept your offensive and inappropriate comment, as your remark is not true. You requested an extra night's stay, but you were told that we were fully booked and that you had to check out by noon. Your response was that you were going to the city center and would return to collect your belongings from the room. We waited until 4:00 p.m., but you never showed up at the hotel, even though we called you and you said you were on your way to hotel.     A nice, small hotel with super friendly staff

    A cute little hotel right on the Atlantic coast with super friendly and helpful staff. Very small rooms but with a beautiful view, lovely pool, comfy bed and wonderful breakfast buffet. Staff were super helpful in booking our stay and getting taxis for us. Our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until after midnight. Their staff answered all emails I sent and someone was at the front desk waiting for us to arrive.     This was a really nice stay at a beachfront hotel, couple of hundred meters from a sandy beach and it has its own pool. It far from the airport but nothing is far from the airport on this island. Room was a bit smaller than others on this trip but it wasn’t cramped by any account. Great views from the balcony if you get a room facing the sea.
