    Clean and spacious rooms with balcony. Central location in a lovely town. Somewhat dated bathroom with clumsy bathtub. A bit spartan. Swimming pool not very exciting.Breakfast ok.     Spendid hotel set in a small quiet town with plenty of amenities. The rooms were clean.Very comfortable large bed.Cleaned every day.Welcoming staff and an extensive gin menu!     Good value base to explore the east of the island

    Stayed for two nights, this hotel is located overlooking the harbour in the quiet village of Povoação, making it a good base for exploring the east of Sao Miguel Island. Although the hotel doesn’t have dedicated parking there were always plenty of free spaces available at the nearby harbour carpark. Check-in was quick and efficient and the room a good size, clean and nicely decorated with an excellent view out to sea. Comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi and aircon, okay shower.No restaurant, but the slightly quirky bar area served a selection of tasty food (pizza, pasta, burgers etc), as well as both Azorean and Portuguese beers, otherwise several local restaurants are in the village. Breakfast was included; the selection was limited but was ok. The hotel has a pool, but I didn’t get a chance to check it out during my stay.     I just wanted to change date of my booking. They don’t want to help AT ALL, and acted like gangster. And keeps asking me to call operator, when operator asks me to contact hotel.     Great stay with incredible ocean view in charming small town

    Great hotel. The ocean view is really stunning. You can spend hours just sitting outside the bar or on your room balcony. The room was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking. The food at the bar is also tasty, and again nice to enjoy sitting outside by the ocean.
