    Sloppy housekeeping for a hefty price

    Location is nice, rooms and bathrooms spacious, typical Ramada with no frills. We booked for 2 nights. Upon arrival all was fine. However, upon returning from a full day tour next evening, huge disappointment: room was not cleaned, no clean towels nor toilettries, coffee as not stacked up, so we had no morning coffee before checking out. We never had such an experience at Ramada anywhere. Hence we do not recommend to stay here.

    Absolutely wonderful staff amazing vibe in the Miss Smoky bar and overall comforting homely stay that the front desk staff provided The rooms were lovely spacious the pool atmosphere with the walk up bartender on the pool side. The poolside service was absolutely amazing. Would recommend this homely beautiful pool. Staff where amazing pauline on front desk was absolutely fantastic checking in even giving me some corporate voucher to be used in the bar and breakfast when we made our way down to the bar on our first night’s stay staff where so amazingly welcoming I Lydia and Darcy I think there names where went out of there way to make our experience just so welcoming other front desk staff Montana Tracy and front desk mangers Kate and Adam where just amazing throught the week even the manager gayel even had a great chat about me about what we could do while enjoying our stay in this beautiful resort

    We had a Work conference and stayed for the one night, from the spa and the pool to the Smokies cocktail and pizza and small bites bar to the most comfortable beds and to the best location right near the Marina with the boat club and other wonderful restaurants and the best sunsets/sunrises. The staff were so kind and so caring and so genuine from the day to the night staff we just felt like family. There is such a great feel in all the different parts of this hotel and we would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful day. We will be back.

    Lack of information led to disappointment for my friend and I. Our package included full breakfast bur restaurant was closed, no alternative service with nearby cafes or restaurants. The blase " oh well" attitude was upsetting. The offer if a free barista coffee with a Continental breakfast was inadequate.     Great stay other than the renovations. Not sure if dining room was available. Great pool area. The breakfast buffet looked not very good. Gayel McNair, General Manager at Ramada by Wyndham Hervey Bay, responded to this review Thank you for your great review. We really appreciate it. Sadly our hotel experienced damage during Cyclone Alfred in March 2025 and we are currently experiencing repairs. Very soon, our hotel will be back to usual operating.
