Location

This hotel is located near the historical centre of the city of Ponta Delgada, a few paces from Campo de S. Francisco, the traditional shopping area and with views of the Atlantic Ocean and the port. It is close to many interesting attractions such as the imposing Convent of Hope and the Renaissance-style São Brás Fortress. The hotel is in the ideal location to begin your visit to the beautiful island of São Miguel, whether you are here for business or pleasure.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 102 rooms, 4 junior suites, suites, 5 single rooms and 91 double rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. Rooms

    Compliment Joao & Bruno & king sized bed duvet/pillow very good

    Enjoyed our stay, although restricted from 7 days to 5 days due to cancelled flight on Friday 26/9 & late flight arrival Saturday 27/9.I compliment Joao in the bar for his support. Had a good sense of humour & efficient.We would have spent more time in the bar but regrettablyy another young gentleman was in Joao's place who was more formal & difficult to talk to.I compliment Bruno in your reception. He booked us into room 510. Excellent room & duvet/pillows to die for.Shame no tea/coffee in the room.Breakfast satisfactory- sorry to say put us off having dinner in your hotel. Too basic. Orange juice too watery - would have been good to have proper orange juice. Same food every morning,lacked variety in hot food.Overall very good.Have given you 5/5 mainly because of Joao & Bruno & the king sized bed/duvet & pillows.     A Welcoming Home for A Week.

    A very comfortable, welcoming hotel. The staff, whether on Reception, in the breakfast room and generally cleaning, were all polite and helpful. Our room was a generous size, with a huge bed and good views across the harbour and sea front. It was cleaned a tidies every day. Breakfast was very generous and the staff kept everything topped up. When we had a small problem with a pick up for a day tour the reception staff called the company and got us on our way. We are planning to visit The Azores again next year and will stay at MS Hotel Villa Nova again.
