    I booked a 7 days stay at Sul Villas & Spa for August 2024. Unfortunately I got seriously ill one month before arrival so I had to cancel. There was plenty of time for Sul Villas to get a new booking, anyway the hotel chose to take advantage on me and the cancellation policy was strictly executed . So I lost the 50% of the total amount. that I had paid. They could have proposed a discount for a next reservation but they did not offer anything. Because of this lack of humanity and lack of commercial attitude I won't book there again. In case of problem I doubt that I would get any help as they are just interested in my money.

    The resort was so nice! The Junior Villa with private pool was amazing. The main outdoor pool and indoor pool were very nice. The views were spectacular! It is not listed not the website but they also do a lunch time pool service, which was a very nice surprise. The staff was amazingly friendly. We had a great time.

    Wonderful place. Gorgeous huge rooms with fabulous views of ocean and nearby church. Kind and helpful staff from front desk to housekeeping. We arrived at 8 am as had early flight in. They directed us to breakfast and had a room available immediately after. Very thoughtful. The breakfast was wonderful. Eggs Benedict, eggs royal, fresh fruit, wonderful breads, cheese , ham, smoothies etc. OMG the chocolate croissants and portuguese tarts hot from oven! Great coffee. So many choices! The dinners were probably best on the island. Food was reasonable in price and well presented. Steak was very tender, seafood fresh and light. Not a fault from beginning to end of stay. Area quiet and safe. Variety store a few minutes away with wine and snacks for sale. One of the customers there sang a Fado song for me. This hotel is a great place for couples. I think a bit too quiet for families. Reasonable drives to all attractions. Look no further

    Just spent three wonderful nights here. 14 room boutique hotel with exclusive restaurant for guests. The breakfast were over the top. Dinner was among the best I’ve had in the Azores. This chef is remarkable. The restaurant far exceeds I t’s exclusive small size and has terrific views with extremely friendly competent service.Deni the massage therapist was awesome!. So good! The rooms were beautiful, large, clean, and extremely comfortable with great ears. We had a wonderful time.

    We were a group of 6 girlfriends and had the Village villa (3BR, 3BATH, kitchen, private pool & hot tub!). It was fabulous! beautiful minimalist decor, clean and well outfitted with good daily housekeeping. The included breakfast is amazing and plentiful. Staff was very kind and helpful with anything we needed. The property is quite remote so you likely need a car to do any exploring.
