Meh… the spa is not great.. too many kids and the experience is kinda ruined by the kids screaming. Great spa hotel for families with kids

Alambique Spa Hotel is a very good choice for families, especially if you are travelling with children. We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it.It is quite rare to find this kind of spa hotel in Portugal, with so many pool facilities and activities for kids. The pool area has a lot going on, so it is great for families who want a relaxing but fun stay.One thing to note is that you really need to travel there by car, as the location is not the easiest without one. Also, the water could be slightly warmer. It was around 28 degrees, which is okay, but for a spa hotel it would feel more comfortable if it was a bit warmer.Overall, we had a lovely family stay and the children enjoyed it a lot. A great option for a few days away in Portugal. I loved the place outside and our room was very big and cosy. We loved the cushion, they were very confortable.The bathroom could be a little better, only the shower.We liked a lot the swimming pool.The workers were very nice and dedicate. It was a good experience and we like to visit them again.

Very nice new renovated hotel, with a lot of comfort and friendly staff. The Spa is just amazing, new, huge and very clean. A lot of swimming pools and area for a big hotel. The old cuisine with traditional dishes is nice, and welcome. Good location
