  We stayed at Bachareis Charming House for a one-night stay in Figueira da Foz, and we were very impressed with the hotel. Christina was delightful. She met us at the door and let us check in early, which was very helpful. The furnishing in the room and the common areas was exquisite, and we appreciated the historical aspects of the refurbished building. The hotel was quite and relaxing, and the breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits, pastries, and cheeses. Christina even made us some scramble eggs in the kitchen, which was a wonderful surprise. We will be back to stay at Bachareis the next time we visit Figueira da Foz.

  Charming hostess and charming Hotel

  This hotel really is charming, but even more charming was our hostess. We needed assistance making contact with the Coimbra library to change our visiting arrangements and our hostess was incredibly attentive and provided a service above and beyond. The room was most comfortable with a good bed and window opening onto the quiet street. Lovely courtyard and garden area as well. A short walk down to the sea side and areas of interest in this lovely town.

  Really enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful and it was lovely to have additional rooms to utilise during our stay. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with great knowledge of the area. The buffet breakfast was outstanding!Sparkling clean room and very comfortable bed. Our only dislike was the walls are a little thin and the shower small but we would still stay again.
