The hotel was built in 1917. 4 suites, 21 single rooms and 37 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Stunning location, hospitality and air con is lacking

The hotel is beautiful. The location is beautiful. But the hospitality is lacking. And there is no air conditioning in the rooms. Top line: Choose breakfast included and make your dinner reservation at the time of booking. The property is a bit remote and there are limited dining options outside in the villages. 10 km drive is the closest - which are also small, fill up fast, and require reservations. Our cautionary tale: The desk staff was brusque upon 1:00 pm arrival. We were greeted with “Come back at 3:00 pm you are too early.” There was no offer to hold our bags until check in. The lobby staff had to be prodded a bit to be helpful. An excellent property deserving 5 star reviews will anticipate needs and guide guests in advance through known issues. This hotel does not. Later they left us scrambling to find anywhere else to eat or go without dinner. When I asked for help calling local places to eat (because it’s an expensive international call) I got an eye roll from the lobby man. He did eventually make the call for me. But again… a property worth of many stars would not put a guest in that position. The whole point of staying here is to enjoy this stunning palace in a stunning forest setting. At least we got to enjoy the forest.

Outside is a perfect hotel with its gardens and location. Unfortunately the interior is very degraded. Due to its location, some humidy problems specially in the windows are to be expected. The problem arises when we take into consideration that it is a 5 star hotel with cracks in most of the walls in the room (at least mine), no internet except in some common areas and no air conditioning , in at least two rooms that i know of although the equipment seems to be there, the staff told us it couldnt be installed completely . The staff is great but the facilities, specially the rooms deserve more love. The room carpet is very rundown. Also the room numbers should be engraved and not glued on the key of a 5 star hotel. The breakfast is good but could also be better. I leave some photos to show what i said.Overall it deserves better care for its history and charm.

Amazing building itself, great calm place around, good restaurant (expensive but not bad).Room - like in 2 stars hotel, no wifi even in restaurant, very noisy - we could not fall in sleep well, bathroom must be renovated, view on walls from both windows.Bar - need to make more dark, but with light on the table, need to add calm, not annoing music to cover guests' conversations.We asked about professional photoshutting in the future for money and answer was very strange - no! It is not accectable. You can ask manager, but the answer will be - no. It is really strange, because the main value is a builbing inside and outside. It is Ad for the hotel and more clients.

Just to stay in the Palace and see all his magnificent worth te experience. The rooms need some refurbishing and the food for dinner can be better done. The personnel are great.

Stayed here one night while visiting the area. Room has really high ceilings but is otherwise small and not the most comfortable - clearly in an old building - a real palace - it’s the luck of the draw when it comes to rooms - they tend to be all different. Grounds are amazing, extensive with forest and gardens and ducks.
