We’ve stayed here around ten times over the years, spending several weeks in total while working in the area, and overall it’s still a place we would recommend.The hotel enjoys a peaceful rural setting, perfect for relaxing. The rooms are individually designed with a simple, understated style and a strong focus on sustainability, using many local and recycled materials. The unheated pool is beautiful, especially on warm days, and the outdoor fire pit creates a lovely atmosphere in the evenings.Breakfast is very good, with the homemade cakes being the absolute highlight. The only small downside is that only filter coffee is included. Espresso is available all day from the honesty bar for €1.50, which is perfectly reasonable.The biggest area for improvement is the service. Apart from the kitchen staff, the team often seems rather unmotivated and rarely engages with guests. This may partly be due to limited English skills, but overall it doesn’t feel like a genuine hospitality experience.As returning guests, we were also surprised that there is no recognition of repeat visitors. Even after mentioning at check-in that we know the property very well, we were given the standard introduction instead of a simple “welcome back” or being welcomed to our favourite room. Small gestures like these would make a big difference.That said, if you’re looking for a quiet, sustainable retreat in the countryside with a great breakfast, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Amazing hotel in the most serene of surroundings. In love with all the ancient olive trees. Food fantastic, service great.

A modern hotel of interesting design. Set nicely into a quiet country setting, this hotel was a very nice place to stay and enjoy peace and quiet. The rooms was large and well appointed; each with a theme. I attended a cooking class with my fellow travellers and fun and success. The meals (not the ones I cooked) were very good. Overall a good place to take time out.

Fun move themed rooms and healthy food

This is a cute hotel near a nature park where we went for hiking. Stayed here for two nights. All the rooms have different movie themes and decors - with a group it's fun to have a tour and check out each other's rooms. We had the Avatar room (#4) at first but had to change as it gets the afternoon sun which was relentless - almost impossible to be in the room have to keep the blinds closed which totally defeats the purpose of the mountain view. It's also the only room that has a round bed. Thankfully they were able to give us another room - Eat pray Love (#1) which is on the opposite side with a nice balcony we were able to enjoy in the afternoons. Aside from that the room has a rustic but modern vibe and is laid out much better than the Avatar. We had dinner here both nights and one of them we all prepared our own food with the help of the staff which was a fun activity. They have no fridge or tea kettle in the room. There is a bar with honor system - if you use anything even tea bags you are supposed to record it on a card and pay when checking out.

Perfect getaway to flatten the wrinkles

Super Location, the whole neighbourhood works together and uses each other’s products from ceramics to olive oils in the family run farm to table restaurant, the hotel staff is super nice and helpful, the hotel itself is stylish and cosy!
