  Super comfy beds!

  We stayed here for 1 night whilst walking the Camino. The bed was so comfortable we slept so well! The room was huge and a nice balcony to sit out on to rest our legs! We ate in the bar area and had an excellent steak sandwich and the bartender was excellent - very friendly! Breakfast on the other hand was like a feeding frenzy - clearly a couple of coach parties were staying who can’t to breakfast all together! Chaos!!   Very pleasant experience

  Our room was immaculately clean and spacious with loads of storage facilities. Good sized bathroom. The bed was enormous and comfy other than pillows which were too hard, but we had same issue in a hotel in Lisbon. Hotel could be very busy with coach tours but room generally very quiet overnight, and the staff effectively stocked breakfast bar and cleaned tables in busy breakfast room so there was always a table. Nice buffet choice of hot and cold breakfast food. Decent gym, and the indoor pool was heated. Outdoor pool freezing but it is March! We also discovered a free to use pool table at end of week which was fun. Easy walk into town. Would recommend.   Great hotel with excellent service.

  The room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and warm in winter. The Christmas dinner was very good and well organized. The hotel also has a large and convenient parking area.As a small suggestion, it would be nice to have a more pleasantly scented shower gel and to add hair conditioner in the bathroom of standart room. Overall, a pleasant stay — I would happily return.   We spent 1 night here on our Gate 1 tour. The grounds are quite nice to walk around in. The room was nice with a chair and desk in addition to the bed. The bathroom was actual outside the bedroom in kind of an entry way which was a little unusual.The breakfast in the morning was quite good with a lot of different choices.
