  The front of house staff and in the bar where so helpful and friendly. The location is so close to the Cathedral, shops and restaurants.

  I am so happy I selected Essence Inn Marianos Hotel for my short stay in Fatima. The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The bathroom was spacious. There is a little cafe available if you need a snack or drink. The hotel is a short 3-5 minute walk to the Basilica. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay.

  Best Shower in Portugal!

  This was the best shower I had in Portugal-- the volume/pressure of the water from the small showered was ah-may-zing. That is the thing that stood out the most about this hotel. I can't give their food praises. I saw their spread for breakfast and only had coffee because nothing looks appetizing.The room was tidy, the twin sized/single bed was firm, but the size of the room itself was small. There wasn't much room to move around, even for just 2 people.The bathroom was clean, but was lacking in counter space for your own toiletries and their toilet paper was not ideal.The hotel is in a great location, especially if you're in town for the pilgrimage. I imagine the rates will be exorbitant and I would set appropriate expectations. I'm befuddled by the 4 star ratings.

  Horrible front desk service. I paid for extra supplement for the room and they gave me a handicap room, there’s no makeup desk-mirror, tiny bed, on the exit, the light is dark, the bed light has no switch, I had to manually blend my back to turn off the power cords; I asked to switch the room; but the male front desk representative refused to provide any service. I’ve contacted the agency I booked to file a complaint. DO NOT book this hotel. If there’s zero star, that’s the review it should be.

  Clean spaces and spaciousAwful restaurant staff (one male staff member) who kept on throwing and banging dishes when clearing tables, very disrespectful and rude of him :-(on the contrary, other fellow staff members outshined the other :-)
