Our air condition did not work. The water in the shower was only scalding hot. It is August in Portugal. Can’t shower, can’t cool off to sleep. The hotel repaired both problems the next day but refuse to negotiate on our first night of $400 US . Contacted Manager and Bookings.com

Modern and clean, right on the beach

Great hotel with an amazing location right across from the beach. We had a junior suite, which was very spacious. The room was clean, great balcony and view to the North. Bed was comfortable and the fridge worked well. The bathroom shower faucets need some fixing and the en-suite shower drain wasn't draining well. The included breakfast was a fantastic start of the day. Lots of options to eat. Great times too. The gym was well equipped and the pool looked great on the 16th floor. The front staff were welcoming and helpful.

In general it is a good hotel but:1. Reception staff was not unexperienced at all! All the members of our group (28 persons) received cards that did not open the doors! And we had to contact reception for additional help! And to request the additional card because there was 1 card only in each set!2. There was ONLY TWO elevators for 16-floor hotel!3. The faucet in the bidet (room 506) was faulty and water was flowing onto the floor!4. The faucet in the bathtub was faulty and I was forced to fill the bath with a shower!Because of the one-night stay I did not contact the reception!

Modern space with breathtaking views and 5-star service!

A very modern space. We chose a suite with a breathtaking ocean view, and the service was absolutely 5-star. Just a heads-up regarding the location: the stretch of sand is incredibly wide. Be prepared to walk for about 10 minutes across the sand if you actually want to reach the water. Overall, an excellent stay!

Excellent location by the huge beach of Figueira, not far from the centre of the city though. Contemporary building with sleek and modern common areas. Rooms are huge and with a nice view. Beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was good too, I found everything impeccable clean. As it´s a tall buliding, the lifts might be were a bit slow sometimes at the rush hour, but nothing to complain really. There´s a huge indoor swimming-pool at the top of the building with amazing views overlooking the ocean. It´s a very relaxing place with a quiet vibe most of the day, you´ll be alone or almost alone enjoying the sun and the swimming-pool, although it may become a bit rowdy in the mid afternoons when some families come for a dip, although they don´t stay for long. There´s also a tiny turkish bath, a bar and a solarium. Good breakfast, much better than expected. The entrance to the garage is on the side of the building and the sign doesn´t stand out much, so you may overlook it, but the access is convenient. One important advantage is that they seem to offer sometimes great discounts. In my case, I got a fantastic rate, so the price/quality ratio was excellent. I got the impression that this establishment doesn´t pretend to be one of those pretentious hotels you lately find everywhere but it performs really well in everything, so in my opinion, it justly deserves the five points.
