Excellent location by the huge beach of Figueira, not far from the centre of the city though. Contemporary building with sleek and modern common areas. Rooms are huge and with a nice view. Beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was good too, I found everything impeccable clean. As it´s a tall buliding, the lifts might be were a bit slow sometimes at the rush hour, but nothing to complain really. There´s a huge indoor swimming-pool at the top of the building with amazing views overlooking the ocean. It´s a very relaxing place with a quiet vibe most of the day, you´ll be alone or almost alone enjoying the sun and the swimming-pool, although it may become a bit rowdy in the mid afternoons when some families come for a dip, although they don´t stay for long. There´s also a tiny turkish bath, a bar and a solarium. Good breakfast, much better than expected. The entrance to the garage is on the side of the building and the sign doesn´t stand out much, so you may overlook it, but the access is convenient. One important advantage is that they seem to offer sometimes great discounts. In my case, I got a fantastic rate, so the price/quality ratio was excellent. I got the impression that this establishment doesn´t pretend to be one of those pretentious hotels you lately find everywhere but it performs really well in everything, so in my opinion, it justly deserves the five points.

One of the best sea views ever

I would recommend the Oasis Plaza, the location directly at the beach is perfect. Wonderful view over the nice beach front and the promenade. We had a surprisingly upgrade into a spacious suite in floor 11. Simply wow! We've rented e-bikes at the hotel shop, uncomplicated and easy. We would come again.

Terrible choice

Hotel is well situated as far as that can be the case in this resort which is long past its glory days. The ocean view is stunning. For the rest the hotel is a poorly maintained property, no personality, the lobby is unwelcoming, rather dirty (full of traces and stains on the check-in counter, the entrance has dirty stone, no one welcoming the guests, no bellboy in sight). Rooms are cheaply decorated, everything is old - door frames are rotten, brown/black stains around the shower, old greyish towels, etc. And this is in a deluxe suite. Personnel is rather placid, no dedication. I don’t recommend it and I will not return or book another Eurostars property ever.

Good Overall, But a Few Letdowns for a 4-Star Hotel
16 Jul 2025
Overall, it was a good experience. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the view was excellent. Breakfast wasn’t the best I’ve had, but there was a wide variety of options available. One thing to note: the gym and swimming pool areas are open to children. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing swim, you might be disappointed. During my visit, the pool area was quite noisy and active, with children jumping and splashing despite posted rules. The lack of enforcement of these rules impacted the atmosphere and, arguably, the water quality. Something to keep in mind if tranquility is what you’re after.

Fraud - not a 4 star hotel. Not even close.

I am very dissatisfied and dissappointed with the hotel. The air conditioning in the room was not working and it was only venting without cooling at all, the drainage in the shower was really bad and at some point the water almost filled half the bath. This does not represent a 4-star hotel experience!
