  Nice Hotel in a quiet area

  I liked the hotel, and my room 2nd floor ocean view. The end of Oct is a very very calm time of year to visit the area, almost boring. Not many hotel guests. The employees are all very nice and polite. The breakfast variety is incredible. I would prefer much less variety and freshness instead. And I would love real expresso coffee. Due to some major work being done on the beach, I was able to change rooms (no ocean view) after I complained - the ocean view is why I chose this hotel in the first place. My new room included a wellness bathtub, nice. The massages in the spa were very good, recommended. It is not a very big spa area.

  A charming ocean-front stay in very nice ocean-front hotel

  Furadouro Hotel was the last stop of our vacation in Portugal. We were looking for a relaxing place south of Porto - and ended up in the perfect place!The hotel is very nicely kept, sports a bright and spatious interieur, and is very clean. We booked a room on the 2nd floor with a balcony facing the Atlantic ocean. Sitting there, reading and enjoying a coffee, and watching the sunset with a glass of Port wine was the perfect completion of our vacation.Breakfast was served downstairs, along the window front out to the beach promenade, and offering a nice variety of warm and cold dishes, including many different kinds of Portuguese pastry - we enjoyed every bite.We had been looking forward to long beaches and small towns for the final days of our visit to Portugal - and found it all around Furadouro Ovar. We still enjoy the memories of our trips south towards Aveiro, our stops at small places, and our dinners in the restaurants of the area.If you are looking for a relaxing stay at the Atlantic ocean, Furadouro Hotel would be a recommendation from us.

  Very good hotel with an excellente location.....

  We only stayed for a night. This hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable, with a great view ! We found there were not many people around in this area, maybe because it was the end of summer..... The gentleman at the reception who checked us in, is in great need of taking a course in P.R to come down a notch or two,or maybe he is in the wrong department or doesnt like his job much. Apart from that our stay was rather enjoyable!

  Very nice hotel but not many restaurants nearby. Very windy area. Strange location for a nice hotel. Good discos rooms. Clean. Nice staff and good breakfast.

  Great location right across the road from the beach! Staff couldn't have been more friendly & helpful. Buffet breakfast was fantastic, so much choice!
