  Make sure the men at the reception learn customer service from their female colleagues

  Stayed here for three nights during a business trip. It’s located a bit outside the city center. Clean and tidy, with a good breakfast and friendly breakfast staff, and in the evenings a pleasant and likable man in the bar. Very friendly and welcoming women at the reception.Unfortunately, the men at the reception were quite unfriendly—no smiles, and they couldn’t even manage to say “good morning.” When you had a question, it felt like you were disturbing them while they were browsing the web. So a piece of advice to the hotel management: make sure the men at the reception learn customer service from their female colleagues.

  Staff very professional, able to accommodate change in our requirements. Room clean, comfortable, ample breakfast. Location close to town centre and amenities. Amazing value for money. Just rebooked.. so that speaks for itself. Thank you to all staff.

  Noisy and full of unsupervised children.

  Be warned this hotel allows large parties of children. While staying here our first night was disrupted by them running riot and partying. They left and we were assured by staff the next night would be quiet. They lied. Another party of children arrived and did the same. Exhausting!

  This hotel looks luxurious from the Outside and entrance,however, the sound proofing is poor which makes for very noisy rooms. Beds are solid and uncomfortable. No tea/coffee making facilities in room, not even complimentary water. Breakfast very basic. The staff were helpful but otherwise not a good stay.

  The hotel rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Located in a residential neighbourhood, it is within walking distance of the bus station and other sights. The receptionist Nizza, always had a smile and was very willing to help with advice on day visits to Porto and Coimbra. We enjoyed interacting with her as she was friendly and warmThere was even a ramp to ascend 4 steps with luggage to reach the elevator. Our room was cleaned well everyday and linen replaced fresh. There is a mini fridge in the roomThe only thing missing was a kettle for hot water and provision for tea and coffee in the room.
