This hotel is located 200 m from Lousã town centre. Restaurants, clubs and bars can be found between 1 and 2 km away. From Lousã castle guests can admire the charming chapels erected in honour of Nossa Senhora dos Aflitos, S. João Batista, Nossa Senhora da Agonia and, right on top of the mountain, the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Piedade. This could be the beginning of one of the many routes that lead guests, on foot or by jeep, to explore the Lousã Mountain. But Lousã is not only a mountain, it has many other interesting sights: manor houses dating from the 18th and 19th Centuries are a feature on many streets. The Misericordia and its chapel, the parish church, and the beautiful Baroque-style building of the town council contribute to this walk through history ending at the medieval bridge of Foz de Arouce.

The hotel itself is truly beautiful. The grounds are perfectly maintained, and the pools are a real highlight, an ideal setting to relax during the day.As for the rooms, housekeeping does a thorough job, and the cleanliness is flawless.Unfortunately, the major downside of our stay was the nighttime. It was simply impossible to sleep before midnight and after 8:00 a.m. The issue was a loud, constant compressor noise (likely the building's central air conditioning), combined with street noise that the windows completely failed to block out. It is a real shame, as this severe lack of soundproofing completely ruins any chance of resting and wastes the potential of such a lovely establishment. The hotel has a very beautiful charm. The rooms were great and I believe the value of the hotel excellent. The hotel was clean. The spa services was excellent. The town was very cute, but it was a challenge to get a taxi or uber to the hotel. It is possible but the wait is around 20-30 mins each time.
