Overall - fun vibe, casual, friendly. Would stay again Rooms - we had a family room which consisted of a king bed and a set of bunk beds. It was fine because we didn’t spend much time in there but the rooms are quite small (by North American standards). The upper bunk bed had no railing which made us nervous our kid would fall out. We asked and the put on a rail, but it didn’t attach securely to the bedframe, it sat on there with friction clamps on the top inch or so of the frame. I’m the middle of the night my son hit it with his knee and it fell right off. The second night one of our kids slept in our bed so no one had to be in the upper bunk. Room had lots of towels and the pool towels were already in the room which was lovely. Room was very clean, bedding and pillows were nice. Balcony was nice. Food - breakfast included in room rate. It was a bit smaller than at a large hotel chain, but it was a great selection considering the hotel only has 22 rooms. Cold meats/cheeses, bacon, sausage, eggs, yogurts, fruits, granola and other toppings, cereal, breads/pastries. Quality of the food was great. Orange juice was fresh squeezed. There was a coffee machine for whatever type of coffee you want. We also had dinner in the restaurant the first night and it was fantastic. We had codfish, the pasta carbonara and the grilled steak. Everyone was very happy with their meals. Facilities - so much to do on property. Pool and hot tub were great. We didn’t get to use the gym, sauna or steam room but they looked great as well. Kids loved the games room. Water coolers throughout the hotel to fill your water bottle. Staff - everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Loved all the staff Rentals - we rented boards and wetsuits and they were very patient while we picked out boards and tried wetsuit sizes. They had a selection of soft top and hard top boards. The wetsuit drying room is great. We brought back our wetsuits at 5pm and the next morning at 7:30 they were mostly dry and we could put them back on Location - very convenient in the sense that you can walk to Baleal beach with surfboards. That was important to us as our rental car didn’t have roof racks. There’s not much in terms of shops/restaurants in the area so that may be a factor if you don’t have a car. Free parking was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Not a spa resort, more a basic apartment hotel. A little disappointed with the facilities and location. Extra charges for bikes and boards expensive. Sauna not working.Staff friendly but kitchen disorganised and breakfast missing items daily.

All staff were welcoming, friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I needed stitches but the staff did everything to help.Rooms clean, spacious and cleaned daily. Beds were lovely and comfortable with fluffy pillows.Restaurant was our favourite place to eat in the evening. The regular waiter was funny, helpful and great to talk toOnly negative, the cooked breakfast was always cold, independent of the time you ate breakfast, but the selection was amazing.Well done to everyone.
