Very nice hotel for the price. Went in off season so it was not busy at all. I can see parking being a challenge in peak season but the room was nice and grounds and pool are top notch.

Lot of ants at those rooms. Can’t recommend this place. Also location far from all services. The staff is friendly and the food is good.

Promised much, delivered little

Booked for a 5 day trip to play golf with inclusive golf. Hotel very ordinary and furnishings cheap. Service lacked warmth. The golf was not great, really poor customer service and despite booking a buggy, none were available. Marketed as high end, does not compare with other resorts of same nature. The place also felt soulless.

Remote but Relaxing – Great Food and Friendly Staff

As someone visiting from Norway, I have to say Royal Obidos Spa & Golf Resort really feels like it's out in the middle of nowhere. If you're planning to stay here, I’d definitely recommend having a car – it’s not a place you just walk around from.That said, the hotel is beautifully located on a hill with great views of the ocean and the nearby golf course. There's free indoor parking.We stayed in room 308, which was very spacious. It had a balcony, though it faced the back of the hotel, not the sea or golf course. The bed was huge (around 2 meters wide!), and the bathroom had a large tub positioned in front of a window. The room was tidy and comfortable.Breakfast was okay – decent selection of hot and cold dishes, though I wouldn’t say it matched the expectations of a five-star hotel. What really stood out, though, was the friendly breakfast staff. They were welcoming and made sure everything ran smoothly.The biggest positive surprise was dinner. Honestly, it was excellent – beautifully presented and full of flavour. The staff in the restaurant were fantastic: professional, warm, and spoke great English. Big thumbs up to the whole restaurant team!If you're coming expecting a luxurious five-star resort, you might be a bit disappointed.
