  Staying overnight in Leiria.

  After our restaurant visit on New Year's Eve, we chose to stay at this hotel because of the short distance between the restaurant and the hotel (5 km). Very good hotel, very clean rooms, very comfortable beds, clean bathroom with shower, flat-screen TV, super friendly staff, extensive breakfast, and especially private parking under the hotel for €7 per night. We were very satisfied with our stay here, and it is definitely worth repeating in the future.

  Great trip in central Portugal!

  Excellent staff, food, area, cannot say enough how wonderful everyone was. This is a perfect spot to travel north to the Douro Valley. Plus only 1/2 hour to Nazare to the west, Fatima to the east, so many other towns to visit. Walking distance to many nice restaurants too. Kudos to Pedro, he was the best!

  Top trip to TRYP in Leiria

  While visiting from Australia, we visited the city of Leiria. This gave us opportunity to explore the coastal towns on the Atlantic coast. Staying at TRYP was the best decision we made in Portugal. A fabulously modern hotel, very close to shops and restaurants with a great breakfast included in the tariff. However, our stay was really enhanced by the lovely reception staff..they provided lots of information on places to see, routes to take, ice ( swollen ankles) and generally assisted us in our every request. Our heart warm thanks to Joao, Micaela and Patricia who all deserve Employee of the Month awards! Also the lovely ladies in the breakfast room: great work! Great place to stay especially room 221!   Great place to stay in Leiria

  Delightful stay! The bed was very comfortable, the room was well insulated from any noise, and breakfast was quite ample and delicious. The only tiny down note was that the room was rather cold and there did not seem to be a way to adjust the temperature. Plenty of bed coverings luckily. But above all was the incredibly knowledgeable, competent and delightfully personable staff. Every person I dealt with at the desk was a wonderful representative of the hotel and of Portugal. They were patiently tolerant of my attempts to speak Portuguese. I cannot praise them enough!   Fit for purpose but a little soulless

  We spent three nights at this hotel while in Portugal for business and leisure. Leiria was the business part of our trip. The hotel was very corporate … so for me a little soulless … I prefer more local style accommodation. But it was very clean, the rooms spacious and comfortable. The location was quite good … walking distance to the Castle and city centre. But it was kind of nowhere with nothing much around. I would have loved a pool as it was hot when we were there, but this hotel is very much a business style hotel and was booked by our hosts. The included buffet breakfast was excellent with a large variety to choose from. Recommended if you are on business or like good chain style hotels.
