  We were booked in here as part of a cycling trip. Great lock up for the bikes close by. Lovely room with a balcony. Close to the beach & the heritage area. Adequate but unexciting breakfast. Hard bed & terrible pillows. Felt it was a bit mean charging one euro per coffee in your room!

  Modern friendly hotel near beach

  Lovely modern hotel only one street back from the sea front. Figueira da Foz was very quiet when we visited. The hotel room was lovely with a side sea view from the balcony we were able to sit on which wraps around two sides of the hotel. The staff were professional. Breakfast was served in the basement with no windows but the buffet staff were very nice. The food was good with lots of cold choices but the hot food was the same each day and not particularly inviting. Tea making facilities inroom but no teaspoons. Water only provided on first day and had to pay €2.50 for small bottle which seemed a bit strange when cost of room is quite high.It was very clean in all areas and there was a pleasant lounge which we did not use.

  The reception staff were so very welcoming when we arrived on our bikes, wet, dirty and exhausted. Their friendliness and helpfulness added so much to our delightful stay. The hotel had an old world charm and is steeped in history ( many photos and articles adorn the walls in public areas). Our bed was roomy, all very clean. A fridge and tea and coffee making facilities were all in our room. Shower over the bath was a bit tricky to get out of. The location is great.

  Great location - pleasant little hotel

  Nice little quant hotel with very helpful staff . Intially we were put into a very samll room not even enough space to lay down a suitcase flat but we asked for a better room and got one much bigger for 15 euros extra !Nice little lounge bar and secure parking just down the road for our bikes . Breakfast was fine and its in a great location

  This is a well situated hotel and the room was light and airy.The reception staff were excellent - very helpful, knowledgable and willing assist with all requests.The lounge area is a very relaxing space to sit and unwind; drinks were served with the minimum of fuss but with very good presentation.Breakfast was simple with reasonable choices - always space available and staff on hand to replenish supplies.Easy access to the beach and plenty of great restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. We arrived and departed by taxi to the station - 5 minutes and as many euros.Thoroughly recommended.
