  The room we stayed in needed a complete remodeling. Old dirty carpet, old bed frames and chipped furniture. Breakfast pretty standard but not exceptional. Big bathtub to take a shower and you almost need a ladder to get in and out and no grab bars. Glad we only stayed for one night

  You have no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. One bottle of complimentary water per booking.   Overall very good, but don't ask for tap water.

  Only stayed 1 night as part of a coach trip.As a solo within that group I was given a lovely and large double room. Fridge in room.Dinner and breakfast were both buffet style, good with lots of choice, including hot food with breakfast. 2 problems - we were refused tap water, so could only have a drink with our meal that was paid for, and the music in the restaurant at dinner was loud.   Convenient for City Centre

  The hotel is part of a chain in Portugal, offers good sized bedrooms, sadly no furniture on the balcony to enjoy the outside space. Like most large hotels/chains the hotel lacks atmosphere and feels sterile but it served it's purpose. There is good car parking underground (€10/day). The entrance is at the rear of the hotel down the side street with direct access to the lobby and guest rooms. Coimbra city centre is approx. 10-15 min walk depending on where you want to get to. I'd say this was one of those convenient hotels to get your head down rather than a must stay place. Breakfast was included and a good offering of food. Coffee machines however need calibrating or they need to provide bigger cups !   The room is excellent. The staff simply wonderful and always keen to helpDefinitely recommend if you want a really nice hotel in good location for walking.
