I had a good experience in Vila Galé Figueira da Foz. The staff, as is customary in the chain Vila Galé, was very attentive and welcoming, always available to help, which makes the stay more pleasant.The hotel is clean, organized and quite quiet, allowing you to rest well. The buffet is good within the standard of the group, although I found it could have a little more variety.I give 4 stars mainly for some points that could be better: the outdoor pool is relatively small and is surrounded by buildings, which ends up taking some charm to the space. In addition, the hotel does not have an indoor pool and parking is paid during the high season.Overall, it is a comfortable and well located hotel, ideal for a quiet stay in Figueira da Foz.

Pleasant stay with sea view

All in general good, however the value that is paid in the restaurant and very high for quality and quantity. The small almoco with variety and good quality. The hotel in general is clean and needs some renovation that is noted they are trying to make. All staff very friendly and helpful.

An experience for life and to repeat!

One day the Instagram page of this hotel appeared by surprise in my “feed” so from nowhere, and from nowhere I was enchanted and decided to follow by finding something that I never saw in such an area as hospitality...Good environment, humor, health and joy at work, respect between parties, I was able to see love and a team spirit unparalleled, I was able to see that the workplace can be a harmonious space where we can all work and fulfill our duty, but above all be happy! I immediately identified myself, sent to my mother and other friends!For all this I booked 3 nights to celebrate my birthday, and then I noticed that this hotel is better than many where I went! People are the people who make the companies! I saw smiles on my arrival, I saw unparalleled daily and constant cleaning, I saw quality food, I saw service, I saw health and joy at work, I saw mimos and coziness, I saw a bright sea view to the sea (room 319), I received a surprise; I had a room to literally honor me with wine cake and a love of congratulations, a tenderness! (Thanks to the touch of Director Manuel Patrício, thank you for everything and for taking care of yours!)And the best of all, they preached me a game on the first night when I was enjoying the introduction of a taste of wines (invitation received upon arrival) “rapted”; I was scared when the Gonçalo-reception and Diogo-bartender, surprised me by the back, and Vera grabbed... You won’t taste wines without first working (something of the kind) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 They took me to the bright Christmas tree that they created with bottles of wine and got me to spray the mush at the base of the tree, laugh a lot, so much until he gave me the stomach!I loved my loved ones! I have no words to thank for the joy and love they gave me! Every touch, every care! Enjoyed in all possible ways the best this hotel has to offer! Magnificent Wi-Fi, constant and exemplary cleanliness, ideal temperature,unique meals and quality, perfect location, enjoy the view of the sea that is charming, enjoy the mild and clean aroma in every corner, the pleasure to meet live who I saw in the posts on Instagram and who are unique people! I shared stories on Instagram and will make a post! Hello if I go! Interact with other guests, including children!I loved it all! I recommend everyone! I will come back without a doubt! I thanked everyone at the exit the best I could, you are impeccable!!!

Great short stay in lovely hotel with excellent facilities

We had a single night here, during a coastal cycling trip. Apparently it has been refurbished recently, which makes sense as the decor was fresh but I could tell the design of the hotel was not new. The service at the front desk and bar were excellent. When we had some communication issues in the restaurant, the assistant manager came to help and again was excellent. There is a great spa, sauna steam room which was free of charge to use and very comfortable. Breakfast was a good selection. Definitely recommend.

You just know you are in good hands and well taken care of when the Hotel Manager himself, passing front of you by the entrance of the hotel and seeing you struggling with your luggage due to a leg injury, just stops to offer some assistance. And what else could you ask for, knowing this experience happened unconsciously on Women International Day!My husband and I are just so grateful for him and his team, for making our experience so unique and caring topped up with an unexpected flower offered by the team. We have been staying at various Vila Gale hotels until now and even went beyond by setting up a membership two years ago as the locations of the hotels, the staff members and the facilities are always consistent, harmonious and enjoyable.Thank you so much Manuel Patrício and your team for the unique experience we had specifically at Vila Gale Figueira Da Foz. It was a real pleasure for us to meet you. We will certainly be back!
