  Cozy hotel, 5 blocks from the beach and several commodity stores and coffee shops nearby. Also very close to the train station and Hop on - Hop off buses. Highly recommendable.

  A most pleasant hotel experience in all respects. My room on the ground floor at the back was quiet, light and tastefully decorated with modern conventional fittings to a high standard. The bed was most comfortable, with accompanying coverings. The bathroom came with both a super shower and bidet. A refrigerator and safe are also supplied. The breakfasts were excellent with a grand variety of fare, though only open from 07:30. The train station is a 9 minutes walk away and the casino just across the street. I would certainly stay there again without hesitation.

  We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alvorada. Our family room was huge! The hotel is clean, the location is perfect and the staff are very friendly. Extra care given due to Covid-19 pandemic, just as anywhere else in Portugal.

  The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is in need of an update but very clean. I’d recommend this location because it’s near a train station which runs alone the coast. I was riding a motorcycle and needed help find a fast maintenance shop, the staff was very prompt in helping me find that shop.

  I needed somewhere to stay before moving on to Lisbon for a business trip. This was just what I needed. By shopping around I got a room for £35 a night and stayed for 2 nights. Comfy beds and everything was clean but lacked some of the facilities you’d expect in a room these days like a kettle, ironing board etc. Had I paid full price I’d have been disappointed but I got good value. Short walk to the train station and beach. Cafe vani on the right as you walk down to the station does an excellent breakfast roll and coffee deal as the reports of the hotel breakfast are not good.
