  The staff are friendly and polite the breakfast is alright,the restaurant was closed, everything else is rubbish. The lift broke down so we had to climb seven floors to have breakfast. Water came into the building and there were drafts coming through the windows and doors. The bar was closed on a Friday night because it was the barmans birthday. This hotel has seen better days,it doesn’t deserve one star,need I say more?

  Location is great, with a good pool area and most of the staff were really helpful.However, very limited bar facilities (although kudos to Marcelos for doing his best). Also, no restaurant or fridge in room severely detract from the overall appeal of the hotel. With some positive input and improvements , this hotel could be really good…food for thought owners!   This lovely hotel is just minutes away from the beach and boasts a lovely pool. While the rooms could use an upgrade, a seaview room offers a great view. There’s a service by the pool, but the restaurant is unfortunately closed due to refurbishment.   The location is great close to the beach ( walking distance) and train station , the hotel could do with a bit of updating but it was a very good value for money, our room was good comfortable ( daily clean ) the breakfast is very good , Leo the manager was very helpful and very friendly.

  Where does one start! 4 star hotel - Not in anyone's wildest imagination is this even a one star. As a disabled person I contact the hotel with my various requests ie a shower not bath. Tea and coffee making facilities, iron and board, next to or close by to a lift etc. I was told they don't have shower only facilities! I asked for pictures of what they do have, and as the side of the bath was manageable with help ( my daughter was with me) I accepted the room.On arrival to the room, the stench from the bathroom was nauseating. We complained immediately but we're told it's because of a river that runs under the hotel that smell is there. Apparently it's throughout the hotel. I found out on our last day that this wasn't true.The water in the bathroom sink and bathtub (whilst having shower) would fill up because the water couldn't flow away fast enough, even in the lowest waterfowl setting!!There are NO tea and coffee facilities in the room!! No kettle, no ironing board or facilities in the hotel. The ONLY few good things is the location, and some of the staff. I was told by reception that if I wanted hot water for a tea or coffee to ask the barman. When I did, he asked me where my mug was? He was expecting me to magic up a mug for the hot water!!! He was a very rude and intimidating man.The pool - was stonkingly cold. There is no ingress or egress for mobility infirmed people and, and, I have to laugh, they didn't have more than 10 towels for guests to use on the sun loungers...It begs belief that this place can get away with such things.Last but not least the bugs. I've got videos. I showed this to the manager. All he said was I'll tell so and so. Not an apology for the numerous bites etc my legs are cover in bites. The first thing when arrived home was to vomit.There was offer of any sort from this establishment. The breakfast - bland. Bland. Bland. The coffee making machine only filled half a shallow mug, that you would have to go back 4 times to a decent portion for a latte.Avoid like the plague.At your own risk be it. You have been warned. There are much better hotels close by like the Hotel Riviera.
