  Fantastic hotel! The location and quality of the hotel can only be beaten by the fantastic staff there!Another very enjoyable and relaxing few days spent at the Grande Real Villa Italia. Set right next to the coast, with great views and a short walk to the marina and nearby town of Cascais. A perfect location for a romantic getaway. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend!   Wonderful hotel - spacious without feeling vast. Stunning pool, never felt over crowded. Nice breakfast and super friendly staff. Great location for strolling in to town for drinks / dinner or going for a run along the coast. Will be back!   We had a sea view terrace and felt it had to be one of the best rooms in the entire hotel. Amazing service literally from the moment we walked through the front door, til the moment we left 4 days later. An end to end, seamless luxury experience. Extremely clean and very well managed noise, except for some ongoing construction next door that is not the hotel’s fault.Also, Nuno at the Terazza bar was exceptional.   Beautiful facilities with thoughtless service

  Beautiful surroundings but disappointing service. The hotel was empty yet they gave us a ground level room in a distant corner. No view, but with much noise from screaming kids at the adjacent property. Huge bed, elegant tile work, tiny shower, stains on the rug. With no other restaurants close by, we endured two evenings of rude and inattentive service in the dining room. Waiter Luno (spelling?) was especially impolite. In addition there was a planned power outage that ran long!
