  We stayed at hotel lido in October 2024. We were not at all impressed with the hotel, the staff were not very friendly. The room was very average, the bathroom door had a big split in it and did not shut properly. There was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom and was generally very poorly kept. The walls were very thin and you could hear every word and step other hotel guests took. We tried to use the sunbeds but there were only 2 out! After asking to get one they said it was winter time and did not have any. Only to later see that someone had got one out for another guest. The housekeeping staff walked in to our room 3 times without knocking! So if you want privacy this is not the place for you. Later in our stay the hotel welcomed about 40 teenagers to the hotel who made lots of noise and did nothing about it! Overall it is a very budget hotel, but I would not stay again and recommend you avoid at all costs.

  We had requested from reception that these be provided, but it seems the day shift forgot, as we had to go at night to request it again after realizing there was still nothing.Lastly, they don’t have an iron for clothes, which was undoubtedly very inconvenient.Something that also surprised us was the lack of parking spaces. Given the busy nature of the place, they had half of the small parking lot closed, supposedly for construction, though during the four days, we didn't see any. To make matters worse, the employees use the few available spots for their own cars.

  Check the type of room they give you - they lack integrity

  Check the type of room they give you because they lack integrity and they gave us a different room than what we paid for. We paid for a double superior room and they gave us a standard one without telling us. When we went and asked them to check they initially denied that it was a worse room than they should have given us. Only after we showed them the pictures in the room and online that matched the different types of rooms they admitted they switched rooms but they said that the hotel was full so they could not change it. Very disappointed by such unethical behaviour.

  We arrived early and the staff were lovely enough to let us check in early AND we had our room upgraded to a deluxe! Lovely comfortable beds and nice hot shower. Not noisy at all. Only thing I was disappointed with was the breakfast which was an all you can eat, just a little basic but not bad! Would definitely stay again!
