  Gorgeous place to stay but what stood out most was the staff. Really helpful and friendly. Yaromir, Paula and Thammy were excellent at breakfast, a table was ready as soon as we arrived, our table was cleared very efficiently and food was restocked quickly.   This hotel is wonderfully situated in a square off the Marina. Positioned between the Presidents Palace ( a must to visit), galleries and small boutique stores. Within the square you are greeted with some of Rogerio Timothy's wonderful sculptures and art pieces, a real treat. Pestana is one of the finest hotels in Cascais, the staff are super friendly and nothing is not within their remit. Within the hotel the Foyer and Bar area (lower ground floor) offer a living Art Gallery with some fantastic pieces. Bedrooms, Pool Area's and scenes are 10/10. Breakfast offers a huge selection of fresh locally produced foods, noting disappointing. This hotel is magical and is a place you will go back to visit. I have never met such friendlier staff.
