Just perfection

If only have time to ready one sentence…read this: Just perfect!I booked one night with Marriott Points, to celebrate my wedding anniversary. I can tell you that I’ve been to a couple of hotels, some very good ones, and I’ve never been treated like in this hotel.They upgraded us to a suite, offered us breakfast that was not included, setup a super cute tent for my daughter in the room and left a champagne bottle in the room.The hotel is super quiet, the rooms are amazing, super comfortable and quiet.Breakfast was very good and also not busy.All the staff was very friendly and helpful but the last mention goes to Felipa from the front desk. She did everything in her power and above to provide us the perfect experience. If you go there…ask for her! Just a real superstar.

Fantastic family stay

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of our holiday in a family suite room 214.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and really couldn’t fault any aspect of the room, resort, service or overall experience. The suite was fantastic. Spacious, well equipped and beautifully designed. The kitchen is a huge bonus and very handy for families. The unlimited use of the spa with child friendly hours of 10am-1pm allowed us all the opportunity to enjoy this experience. The pool area is lovely and breakfast was highly quality/ something for everyone. The resort is a very easy uber to Cascais and walking distance from some nice restaurants, a shop and ice cream park. Huge thanks to all the staff who made our stay extra special.

Kids resort - avoid!

Worn out resort with a tiny pool. It looks big in pictures but it’s a kids swimming pool. In the pool area kids running around naked (also in pool) and the staff doesn’t care.If you’re looking for a stay with small kids and a worn out resort is okay then maybe Sheraton could be a potential choice. However there are a lot of better resorts and hotels with way cheaper prices so I would avoid this with all costs.Save you money and ho somewhere else and you’ll get 100 times better place and deal. A generally ok stay but with some shortcomings. Could be so much better with a bit of attention.Good bits:Spacious, quiet and clean rooms with large towels and good coffee maker.Spacious and pretty grounds. Easy parking.Easy to get a table at breakfast and around pool in mid July ( just before most UK schools break up).Generally friendly staff, apart from one female at pool bar. Needing improvement:Much of the hotel looks like some renovation has been put on pause for the summer season. Terrace area outside rooms look tired and messy. Pool area dirty with no umbrellas - beds hard and basic. bar and towel desk doesn’t open until 11am - have to go and get towels from behind reception before then.Bike hire - There are a few bikes to hire outside reception for hire but they are old and badly maintainedCorridors in hotel are tired with dirty carpets, and musty smell.Breakfast staff - friendly but they expect you to come after them and ask for menu items such as eggs - they don’t come around and offer to take orders.Shower was in bath and small.Attention to detail is poor and staff seem pretty disinterested.
