  I had the best solo stay in WOT. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and it's very easy to make friends and do activities together. Surf lessons are highly recommended, the guys was helpful with both beginners and intermediate. And it's the cheaper option in the whole town.Movie nights, beer pongs, karaoke - every night there is something different and it's so fun!Will come back!   The hostel was average, what you would expect for the price.The common areas were good, but you could see that they only did a light clean The rooms were also average, but the bathrooms were a problem, you could see that the showers were not clean, some didnt even lock. The general cleaning was just changing the sheets from the people that were leaving, I was there for 5 days and the bathrooms were never cleaned. There wasnt anything extremely disgusting, but not clean either.The kitchen storage space was always overflowing, all the fridges were full of things and there was no more space in the pantry to put things.Over all it was a nice place to meet people. the beach was close, but no supermarket close by.I recommend uber if you are carrying a lot of things and coming from the beach side since the hill is really steep and the uber its around 4€ from the city The sleeping its not too bad, some nights its more noisy than others, but nothing a pair of earplugs cant solve.The bar was good and the common areas made it easier to talk to people, which was really nice.The staff was super friendly, extra points for that ❤️ WOT Ericeira SURF HOSTEL, Guest Services / Front Office at Wot Ericeira Surf Hostel, responded to this review Hi Valeen,Thank you very much for sharing your detailed feedback!   What an amazing stay! :D

  I had an amazing experience at WOT!! :) From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and always friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, easy to meet people. There's a lot of activities, BBQ on wednesdays, live music... and Ericeira is lovely!The rooms are nice and the common areas are awesome to relax and socializing. There are hammocks, swimming pool, skate ramp... The breakfast is delicious and offers a good variety :)I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a fun, welcoming, and memorable stay.   Hotel service at its lowest level

  Reception staff on social media on Instagram, etc., instead of being aware of what they are doing, charged me more money for my stay, an incompetent receptionist charged me twice as much, she doesn't even know what she was doing, a tiny room for two people and a child, I left the hotel early one night, they didn't give me a refund (a commercial gesture), they responded to me with a mocking face (we don't do credit notes), and had sent an email asking two days before that my wife had to go to work early, everything dirty, filthy!!, who doesn't like to take a shower and smell bad, is in the ideal place.
