    This hotel is the real deal - nothing less than absolutely wonderful. From the perfect location to the warmest and most hospitable people you’ll meet this hotel was everything in one. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the staff is top notch. They wrote hand written welcome and goodbye notes with a little gift. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you all for making this a trip of a lifetime!

    My wife and I stayed 1 night at Almlusa on our return trip from Spain celebrating our 25th anniversary. I'm the almost 3 weeks we started at 4 and 5 star hotels in a number of cities, and we were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Almalusa. We were given our room when we arrived 4 hours before check-in and were bumped to a suite. The staff was resomponsive and attentive. Within hours of arrival they brought us a complimentary botte of wine and some muffins. Later, they brought us a bar of Artisan soap as a gift. The location is great, just off the busy waterfront neighborhoods, but quiet and comfortable. We both recommend a stay a Almalusa and will stay here again if we come back to Lisbon.     Returned to Almalusa after we stayed last year in their Alfama hotel.This one has a parking right in front of the hotel and since we had a car, this was more convenient.Nice view over the square but there are some reno works happening right next to the hotel: no noise but view was not so nice.Hotel is really nice, great location, great staff. Nice spacious rooms. We had the suite with kitchenette and this offered a lot of space to sit and move around.Bfast was nice, small but good selection of nice food. Specifically tea options were great with fresh mint, dried fruits, cinnamon sticks.     This boutique hotel has it all

    This hotel has it all; location, excellent staff, comfortable rooms and fair pricing.This Alma Luisa is a small boutique hotel with a most interesting foyer, rooms a small reception and an adjacent restaurant. There is very little public space but no matter as the delights of Lisbon is on your doorstep. Quite literally as you step out into an attractive square and from there most sites and attractions are reachable on foot or via the adjacent tram or underground.Our room was a step up from the basic room and was worth the upgrade as it was a good size with a lovely aspect onto the square. The shower was powerful in a very pretty bathroom and the linen of excellent quality. The addition of a nespresso machine and delivery the chocolate treat was most welcome not to mention sublime.There were many nice touches from the really attentive staff like the delivery of a lovely soap and a complimentary drink when we had to wait for our room.This hotel gets all the basics right and then boosts the experience with much appreciated surprises.
