  A great location and a wonderful apartment!

  We loved everything about our one bedroom apartment (except there’s not much lighting. A few more lamps would make a big difference). The location is perfect for getting around Lisbon. It’s on a very quiet, narrow street. Key codes to get into the building and your apartment. Very spacious, very clean, well stocked kitchen to cook meals, a washer and dryer which is always essential for us. Each morning fresh buns and pastries are left at your door. The fridge is restocked every day with cold cuts and cheese and eggs. Coffee pods, fresh fruit basket, jams, milk, yogurt, granola - you’re not lacking for breakfast items!! Pedro was the concierge during our 4 night stay. He was very helpful getting us oriented and was available for any questions or suggestions we might have. It was so nice to return to our comfortable apartment after exploring the city every day. If we return to Lisbon someday I won’t hesitate to stay again at Almaria Da Corte. Loved it!   Truly wonderful, a beautiful property

  We had a truly wonderful, well equipped apartment in great location. Reception is only open from 0900-1800 but if you arrive later it’s no problem- we were sent a code and instructions via whats app. The kitchen has everything you need go cook, and there are so many restaurants a short walk away.Breakfast is a delight.. freshly baked bread, and pasteis da nata are hung on the door by 0830 each day and fresh eggs, ham, cheese and fruit were in our fridge each day.Lisbon can be cold in winter, but the apartment was warm and toasty, the smart TV is a lovely touch.Highly recommended Almaria Edifício da Corte, Owner at Almaria - Da Corte Apartments, responded to this review Dear Victoria, Thank you so much for your kind and detailed review!   We spent 8 days here, nothing was too much trouble, from airport pick up to surprise birthday cake for my partner. Thoroughly recommend Almaria.   The location is great as very central but the apartment they gave us had lot of issues, the bathrooms were really small, the bedroom door would not open without making a huge noise and dragging on the wood floor, the bathroom floors looked dirty, the staff was not available for an issue with the door that wasnt closing at night, tried to call several times none answered, and they did not accommodate my request for breakfast. Too bad as we had a better experience at the other Almaria Ex Libris, but this one was not great. This does not reflect the standards we strive to maintain.Regarding the several calls you mentioned – as you may know, staff is not available at the building after 6pm, and the WhatsApp line also operates only until that time. After 6pm, in case of emergency, guests should make a direct phone call and not use WhatsApp, as you did.   We really got lucky booking Almaria da Corte. Charming, spacious, washer/dryer, fridge. Very well located, we were able to walk just about everywhere. Complimentary airport pick up on arrival was great - and we loved the fresh pastries they delivered to our apartment every morning. Although not an actual "hotel", the concierge was able to assist us with dining reservations. Would stay again.
