This pleasant hotel is located directly opposite the national stadium just 500 m from links to the public transport network. Shops and restaurants are to be found about 3 km from the hotel whilst it is some 6 km to a selection of bars, pubs and nightclubs. The nearest beach is 2 km from the hotel.

Facility

16 suites, 30 single rooms and 75 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom.     Disappointing and better choices available

    As echoed by others here my recent stay was disappointing. The food was ok though the coffee machine broke the first morning at breakfast. Hotel appearance was tired and reception staff were not very welcoming!! A bright spot was the bar staff who were friendly and helpful. Overall can't say I would recommend the place to family or friends!!

    This hotel is horrible. There is very little in the way of furniture or decor in the rooms which are more like cells, the balcony was dirty and had no furniture (and overlooked a busy road) and the bathroom was both dirty and dated. The hairdryer was so old it had gone yellow.The only good thing about this hotel was the staff who were friendly and helpful.This hotel either needs to have it's star rating reviewed or it needs to be pulled down and started again.

    The staff was nice and helpful, but here the complements to the hotel finishes. Small elevators barely fit 2 ppl not mentioning the baggage’s. The room smal, but it was not the worst. The silicon is mouldy and is falling off in bathroom. And the most terrible thing was the smell of moist. It was in every room. We have been with over 40 ppl occupying over 20 rooms and the experience was the same for every one of us. We been visiting Portugal with travel agency, and it was the worst hotel on the trip. I have slept with better hostels.

    If you take tranquilizors to sleep, you better get them extra, because starting from 9am, it’s really hard to sleep: the cleaning staff starts pounding, and the ceilings and the walls ressonate as if we are being assaulted. As to the rest, it’s what you pay for - expensive, but it’s Lisbon.

    "Horrific Experience: Amazonia Jamor Hotel Fails on Cleanliness, Comfort, and Service"

    I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Amazonia Jamor Hotel, which did not live up to its advertised standards.Upon arrival, I encountered several major issues that made my stay impossible:Non-Functional dirty Air Conditioning: Despite assurances from the front desk that the air conditioning was operational, it clearly wasn’t. The room was hot and uncomfortable, making it impossible to relax or sleep.Non-Working Refrigerator: The refrigerator in the room was also non-functional, and when I raised this concern with the staff, I was told that this was the standard for the hotel. The dismissive response to "grin and bear with it" added to my frustration.Unsanitary Conditions: The cleanliness of the room was completely unacceptable. The carpets were visibly filthy and contributed to an unpleasant and unsanitary environment. Worse yet, the room smelled strongly of dampness, and both the bathroom ceiling and bedroom curtains were spotted with mold. Shockingly, the carpets appeared to be stained with what seemed to be bodily fluids—this was beyond disgusting and completely unacceptable.Additionally, the hotel is poorly located, about 25 minutes from Lisbon, in a residential area overlooking a motorway. The overall setting was far from ideal for anyone hoping to enjoy the city or a pleasant environment.After just 10 minutes in this dreadful room, I left the hotel and have since been battling to get a refund. Despite informing the staff of these issues, no solution or alternative was offered. It is unacceptable that I was charged for a room that failed to meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness or comfort. This hotel is absolutely not deserving of its 4-star rating.I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel. The combination of unsanitary conditions, non-functioning amenities, and the unhelpful attitude of the staff made for one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever encountered.
