Location

The hotel enjoys a privileged location in a resort which is surrounded by the Serra da Arrábida, with its beautiful beaches, vineyards and mills. Lisbon is only 20 minutes away, accessible via the Ponte 25 de Abril or Vasco da Gama bridges. An international airport will be located in Alcochete in the future.

Facility

90 rooms await guests at this holiday village, which includes a reception desk. The complex provides a safe, a babysitting service, a childcare service, room service and a laundry service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Dining facilities include a dining room and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte.

    I can only describe this place as 'odd'. We're staying in a rented condominium which is beautiful, the golf course is very well kept, the condominium architecture is great but then the place just seems a little deserted and ghostly.I can imagine that if the property crash hadn't have occurred then this place would be thriving but dotted throughout the resort are numerous condos which have never been sold or are just being left to ruin - all of which taints the ambience of the stay. The apartment block architecture also leaves something to be desired as they remind me of 1960's butlins resort blocks. And yet it doesn't have to be like this. It feels like the management company are happy to leave hedges over growing on properties and don't screen the ruined gardens. Nor do they do anything to tackle the large amount of dog mess left on pavements - which should really be the owners responsibility I know!Flipping back to the positive the clubhouse is also well kept with friendly staff, good food, good drinks and a decent price. The resorts location is also great for those wanting to explore the likes of Lisbon, setubal and the national parks. And those condos that are habited look great. The area feels very secure to with friendly and efficient security guards noting people and vehicles as they both enter and exit.Our rental condo is modern, spacious and a great base for our family holiday. When you're inside the condo grounds it feels very luxurious and worthy of a four star rating. But be careful where you choose to stay as some areas of the resort are pretty desolate.In summary: more needs to be done to bring the resort back up to what it could achieve.
