    Perfect for pre-cruise

    This hotel is ideal for a short stay before a cruise, located right across from the cruise terminal. Antonio at reception was extremely helpful, spoke excellent English, allowed early check-in, and upgraded us to a junior suite with port views. He will go far. It’s close to Plaza del Comercio for dining. When we woke up in the morning, our ship was parked outside. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. It was hot when we checked out and rather than take the ten minute walk with our cases, took a Tuk-Tuk to the port for a quick, memorable transfer.

    We stayed here as part of a group tour ending in Lisbon with Gate one Travel, stayed on for 3 more nights to further explore the city. What a great decision to do so! From the front desk (Sarah and Viviana) to the breakfast team and also a shout out to Jean for excellent bar service during the late afternoon bar service - all perfectly in tune with great service and genuine friendliness! Our room was comfortable and accommodating - Nespresso coffee for early morning and excellent breakfast buffet with delicious pastries and fresh menu options.Be sure to take advantage of tour of the ruins which were prior to the building of the hotel - a guided tour is offered everyday at 10am. This was a most unexpected upscale visit andthe options nearby (for dining (to the left when departing the hotel)were exceptional

    The hotel is at a very convenient location, convenient to walk around Alfama and right at the port of cruise ships. The room was nice and clean. Sara at the front desk was very nice during our check-in. When it was raining hard and the hotel ran out of umbrellas, she even let us borrow her personal umbrella.

    We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights as a group of three and had a great experience. The room was very comfortable and extremely clean throughout our stay.The front desk team was always helpful, with a special mention to Caterina for her excellent service and friendliness.We didn’t try the hotel breakfast, but it looked very good. The location is very convenient—just a short walk to Praça do Comércio, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.They also arranged our airport pickup, which made everything easy and stress-free from the start.

    It was my second stay at the Aurea Musuem, and it was still perfect! The receptionnist remembered me (a delicate touch)! The room was quite and comfortable and the breakfast was great!
