    The location is good. The rooms are adequate. The on site restaurant is excellent. Lisbon has treacherous sidewalks and pathways made out of detritus from excavations. When it rains the surfaces become extremely slippery. This hotel has a broad open air walkway between the hotel proper and its restaurant. They did not put matting out when it rained which is truly shocking but only tucked a small hazard cone in the corner as a warning? I slipped and broke my foot. The rest of my holiday was severely compromised. The truly odd thing was they indicated that they've seemthis kind of accident many times.

    I recently did a four night stopover in Lisbon on the way home from elsewhere. I had done a lot of research and decided to stay at one of the three Brown's locations. I was very happy with my choice of the Downtown Hotel: Great location for exploration of the historic neighborhoods, a nicely appointed room, friendly and helpful staff, and a fair price. I popped over to the very nearby Brown's Boutique Hotel for breakfast and dinner twice. I hope to bring my wife back for a longer visit and I intend to stay to at one of the Brown's locations.

    Great location, lovely room comfy double bed. Fridge, hairdryer, iron, safe and water. Tea and coffee but no milk. There is no on site bar or Eatery however they are literally a few steps away in their 2 partner hotels, where there is a lovely atmosphere and staff, provides food and cocktails (first one complimentary) 10% off drinks for residents however 10% service charge (optional). 24hr reception, great staff. Would definitely stay here again.

    I'd definitely stay here again. It was one street back from the main street, but without the city noise. The room was well-equipped with fridge, safe, iron and coffee machine. The hotel had a relaxed vibe. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and gave lots of advice for exploring the city.
