  Worst site we have experienced so far. Toilets and showers awful, staff miserable and unhelpful. Pitched by road so noisy and blaring music from cafe area, so loud was ridiculous. Other pitches further in too small for 7m MH. Only plus was good for connections to Lisbon. Couldn’t wait to leave.   As with all state owned campsites this needs a private company to take it over. Facilities poor, restaurant poor and all, eye-watering expensive Orbitur Intercambio de Turismo, Outro at Orbitur Costa De Caparica, responded to this review We regret that you did not have a positive experience with the service provided in our campsite.   Stayed two nights to many on this tired outdated and expensive campsite. EHU for motor homes caravans and tents. Basic basic poorly maintained pitches. Moved twice in the time we were here 30/4/2022. There are accommodation modules hired out to excitable drunk “adults” on a rave with music blaring till 0300hrs in morning. Reported to management not interested and the same for following night. Site has permanent caravans and tents that personally I would not keep chickens in. Third and last Orbitur site I will be stopping in. Only plus point is you can park up catch a bus and ferry to visit Lisbon. Good surfing beaches close by.

  Travelling through Portugal from Nazare , we found ourselves a little disorganised looking for a campsite for Christmas, we came across the campsite and found they had several empty pitches.... having read some of the reviews since I agree partly with some of the comments made, the staff on reception were very helpful on our visit, not all the facilities were open which was a little disappointing, the facilities were a little dated which is not normally an issue however they were very dirty, they have a sheet in the ladies bathroom that indicates when the cleaner had been in, and although someone was marking it off as clean the facilities I was using for our 2 nights had certainly not had a clean. The pitches were well marked out with small hedges, most pitches had long grass on them which made the site look scruffy most of the communal areas were smart looking, grass cut, etc. We didn’t find much to do in the area and moved on after our 2 nights. Probably wouldn’t visit again.

  Good site to visit Lisbon

  We didn’t stay long because we were travelling through the The Algarve. However, I highly recommend the fish resteraunt opposite, the staff were friendly and all the locals ate there, which is a good sign. I also recommend catching the ferry over to Lisbon. We caught a bus to the village then the ferry to Lisbon then a tram into the center. The public transport is fantastic , cheap and puts the UK system to shame. The campsite is big and has direct access to the beach (we were out of season so not sure what the beach is like). The reception staff was great and helped us with maps, ferry times, bus times and tram numbers.
