  Just returned from a 3 night stay here with my friend. The standout feature is the helpfulness of the brilliant staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. When we arrived there was a bit of confusion over the type of room I had booked and they quickly offered us an alternative. They helped us navigate our way around Lisbon as first timers and even made restaurant bookings for us. All done with a smile! Yes the hotel could do with some redecoration and the stairs are quite challenging, but the faded grandeur of an original house is part of the charm. The breakfast is amazing and they have an admirable policy of reducing waste so any left over pastries etc are kept for guests to help themselves throughout the day. The location is excellent with a delightful park and gardens 3 mins walk away where there are cafes and gentle live music throughout the day and evening. Loved it! Thank you.   Excellent boutique hotel with nice, stylish rooms, great breakfast and superb staff! We enjoyed every bir of it! Also a noce view, quiet for rest, in a nice neighbourhood with a park, a playground, boutique shops and restaurants nearby.   The hotel room we were assigned to was not clean — stain marks on the bed, scuff marks on walls. It’s impossible to move a small suitcase (carry on size) past the bed to the wardrobe.   We so appreciated the very thoughtful upgrade to the fourth floor suite with the amazing views and balcony. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and we loved the breakfast that was included. Great location in the city. Very clean and well maintained, even in an old building which brings a lot of character. Beds were very comfortable. Also appreciate the luggage storage before we could check in.
