  An absolute disaster. I booked 3 nights here through Booking.com. When I arrived, I was suddenly asked to pay an additional €70 cleaning fee through a link, even though this fee was never mentioned anywhere. Only after paying was I sent the access code. The whole process took about an hour, which I had to spend outside on the street in front of the apartment in the evening. Since this extra fee was never disclosed anywhere, it feels like a scam to me.After entering the apartment, I noticed that the bed sheets had already been used. Even though I reported it and was promised that they would be changed, nothing happened. On top of that, the entire apartment was very dirty and in a run-down condition.

  CONS DEFINITELY OUTWEIGH THE PROS

  I'll start with the good points: It is a spacious apartment. We were a group of 7 family members so the 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms apartment was spacious for us. It is centrally located so that you can easily walk to Time Out Market, Pink Street (Rua Nova do Carvalho) and other points of interest. There are also several cafes within a 1 block radius including 2 on the 1st floor/street level of the building. Finally, the Tagus River view from the 3rd floor front facing apartment was very nice. Now for the rest of the story: There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up and down the stairs (not too bad if you don't have large/checked baggage size) and to get some exercise in going up and down every time you come and go. The 7th person was supposed to sleep on the living room "sofa bed". But it's not a sofa bed - it's just a sofa. Fortunately, he's not 6ft or taller so he could fit laying down. IMPORTANTLY, there is no air conditioning and the fans provided are 1 per room and they are very small plastic tabletop fans. The windows are large so when the weather is cooler, I'm sure opening the windows allows the apartment to stay cool enough to sleep at a comfortable temperature. HOWEVER, because it is located right by Pink Street and many bars, there is so much street noise from the vehicles, including sirens, and nonstop screaming, loud talking, music, etc. from the neighboring bars - until between 5 & 6AM even on weeknights - that you cannot get any real sleep. Several of us tried sleeping with ear plugs and we could still hear the noise. AND I AM NOT A LIGHT SLEEPER. If you are, you won't get a wink of sleep. There was 1 bath towel provided per person which was of very poor quality - very thin. There were no hand towels or washcloths provided. Finally, the shower in the rear bathroom did not drain and the apartment overall was not very clean. The kitchen especially was not clean, but we were not overly affected because we didn't cook during our 4-night stay.

  The best thing abput this stay is the location, is a short walk to the city center and its close to the market and the transport station. The apartment was a bit dirty, but it was well equipped. The lock broke and they fixed it within hours.

  Dirty an extreemly hot appartment. We desided after 10 minutes inside this place that it is not able for us to stay there. No refund, they offered us a new appartment with two bedrooms, for all 6 of us!Good luck and all the best, if you book this.

  Hen do. Amazing location but bring earplugs

  Pros: Apartment is a great size, modern, great location and fantastic base. Great price too!Cons: it's right under pink street. You can hear people from about 10pm until 6:30am even midweek. We went out and bought ear plugs so all was ok after that but maybe this should be told or give some for free to keep customers happy. Showers ran cold on some morning too.
