Location

This inviting hotel lies just a few minutes from Praça Marquês de Pombal in the commercial district of Lisbon. Links to the public transport network and shopping opportunities are located directly in front of the hotel and r Restaurants are to be found within 200 m of the hotel whilst the nearest bars as well as pubs are around 2 km away. The nearest nightclub is roughly 2.5 km from the hotel and it is some 25 km to the nearest beach, a trip, which is well worth making.

Facility

The hotel has 76 rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby.     Perfect for a city break

    From start to finish Dom Carlos Park did not disappoint.Helpful staff took our bag up stairs on arrival. Storage was available until our room was ready, map was given when requested to help us find our bearings. Room clean with fridge with selection of minibar which could be purchased, safe was also available. Towels were large and fluffy. Bed comfortable, with lovely pillows, black out curtains to help sleep. Room service used first night with excellent food . Breakfast was excellent good range of food. It was occasional busy and we were asked to wait in the lounge area but again well looked after and as soon as space was available we were taken in to wait. Hotel is in a good location, a gentle walk down the avenue liberdade everyday to where the action is, such as Rossio Station where we caught the train to Sintra. Great hotel would stay again.     Ideal for short stay.

    We had a double room on 6th floor, lovely clean room, great bathroom with the best shower I've had in any hotel. Ample wardrobe space to hang clothes, lots of drawers in long unit. There was a kettle and coffee making machine, few sachets of different tea, breakfast, green and camomile. Only few little biscuits provided on first day, these were unfortunately not replenished. The only criticism is that there was no mirror to do hair and make-up or to use straighteners. I had to heat them up on only plug provided by kettle, unplug them and take them to where the mirrored wardrobe was, not ideal. The metro was only few minutes walk and only 2 stops to main town where all the shops and restaurants were. We walked the first evening, quite a walk, approximately 20 or 25 minutes. We noticed a lot of German nationalities at breakfast, we were the only English. Breakfast was lovely, good choice of everything, cereal, lovely fresh cut fruit, kiwi, melon and pineapple to have with natural yoghurt. Scrambled egg, sausage, bacon, lovely seeded bread, all delicious! Reception staff were very helpful and informative on hiw to get places etc . Once back at hotel in evening, no bar or any other bars or restaurants near to hotel which was very disappointing. Overall though I would recommended this hotel for a short stay, we were there 3 nights.     Lovely hotel in the heart of the city

    The hotel is very well located, close to all visiting sites and city center.Clean, pleasant, comfortable rooms with bathrooms. Staff is very polite, helpful, friendly and professional.Breakfast is very good and fresh all the time.The front desk surprised me with a birthday gift and card. It melt my heart. On departure day we could leave our luggage at the hotel, to have a short tour in the city, before heading to the airport via private transfer.We will be back for sure :) for a longer stay.Till then will recommend the hotel to all friends and acquaintances.Huge thanks to all staff and especially for Mr Gomez, I hope I memorized his name correctly.Congratulations for the whole team!     Great location for exploring, great staff and breakfast

    Lovely central hotel with great staff. We booked this hotel via easyJet holiday's and the location made it perfect for exploring. Room was well equipped, clean and plenty of storage/hanging.I'd read that no kettle etc so we just took a travel kettle and picked up milk locally so we were able to make tea and coffee in the room.It is in a busy area, our first night there was a busy meetup in the little park outside so we could hear alot from even the 5th floor, if you are a light sleeper then ear plugs would be sensible.Breakfast was lovely, really good selection and nice coffee too. The staff were all really helpful and friendly .     Can I say that the staff at this hotel are the most friendly and helpful I’ve ever come across. The people we connected with were the maid who cleaned our room, various receptionists, the guys at reception who helped with the luggage etc plus the breakfast serving staff. All of you take a bow! The hotel itself is convenient for the metro and indeed it’s not that far from downtown Lisbon. It could do with a bit of upgrading but to be honest it’s perfect for a short break. We spent 4 nights at the hotel.
