5* Hotel with 5* staff, a pleasure staying at this hotel. From check-in staff to and especially the breakfast crew a thank you your professional approach with a smile and nothing is to much trouble, well done. If I ever have to be fortunate to visit Lisbon again the Epic Sana will be .y first stop.

Overall we were happy with our stay, especially the cleanliness of the hotel and most of the staff interactions.The breakfast staff were generally very accommodating, though one gentleman openly criticized another waiter in front of guests after omelettes were offered and was also inattentive with requested drinks. We were also mostly happy with the pool staff, except for one gentleman who appeared visibly sick and was repeatedly wiping his nose while serving guests, which was concerning from a hygiene standpoint.We also felt the front desk staff often came across as rude and not particularly welcoming. Prior to booking, we were given the impression an upgrade opportunity would likely be available, and we were willing to pay a reasonable additional amount in advance. However, the price presented onsite felt excessive and inconsistent with prior communication.A warmer, more welcoming attitude from the front desk — including simple greetings and smiles toward guests passing through the lobby — would greatly improve the overall guest experience.
